A pleasant stay in a friendly and attractive hotel. We had a room overlooking the lake, and also the road running alongside it, which produced traffic noise - but not at night. This is a nice and quite hotel with a perfect location in Combourg. Near the lake and the castle. There are many nice restaurants and creperies just a couple of minutes from the hotel. For example, we can recommend the creperie that's located on the other side of the bridge. The Restaurant du Hotel du Lac serves excellent food as... more

We stayed at the Hotel du Lac en route for the ferry port of St Malo, which is about 40 minutes drive. The hotel, which is privately owned, is a Logis de France, and has a wonderful situation by the lake from which it takes its name.
