Hotel du Bac is in the heart of the port of Combrit--actually Ste. Marine. Right on the water with outdoor dining and a great holiday atmosphere. The mackerel rillettes are incredible. Price for both room and dining is very reasonable. Would stay again--and again, and again. Only issue is night time noise. Place is in the heart of the action... More

Have visited many times over the years and always had a very pleasant experience. Lunch time on a Sunday is usually full of very smart French families having a lovely time. The staff are very professional and friendly. The cuisine is very modern and clever but beautifully presented and always delicious. The restaurant has a very pleasant outlook onto the... More

Stayed here in March 2013 and had a great time. The hotel was beautifully decorated and designed, with a nautical theme. I had a meal in the restaurant and it was of a high quality and reasonably priced. The view over the harbour was beautiful. Perfect.

We stopped here on our travels and the location was just beautiful. Really lovely fishing bay unspoiled by tourism although tourism is a must for these hotels . The rooms were very comfortable and fresh with front views over the bay. Breakfast has a good selection and was nice. We didn't have a meal in the evening but we were... More

This is one of a very few restaurants which is open every day, all the year in the area. We have eaten here a number of times, on an ad hock basis, this time to be truthful it was the only restaurant which was open on a Monday night in November (11th) The meal and the service was very pleasant,... This hotel was ideal for a short break. The view from the room over the water was lovely. The room and hotel itself is nicely decorated and very clean. The food in the Bistro was very nice and pretty reasonably priced, and the service was great. Can't fault it all!

I was a little hesitant booking this hotel as there are some very negative comments about the way English people have been treated but booked anyway as I wanted a view over the water. The room was lovely, overlooking the boats in the bay. It was clean, warm and felt brand new. The colour scheme was very simple, all sky... More

Small familly type hotel with tasty & well renovated rooms. Excellent and well proced restaurant with a wonderful view (terrasse outdoor and dining room) on the Sainte Marine and Benodet bay. A live harbour with a glimpse of French brittany in one day stay!

We didn't stay at the hotel as we were booked in the Hotel Kastel across the harbor in Benodet (see my review if interested) We're surprised to see the negative comments because we liked the restaurant so much that we went back a second night. We sat across the way from an English couple from Cornwell the second evening who... More

Lovely location, fabulous views, modern, minimalist, take slippers for the hessian carpet though - it kills the feet. Friendly staff. Good food - langoustines and a langoustine and oyster platter. Perfect place to spend some time watching the local fisherman in the harbour - make sure you don't rush the visit - it's the sort of place a whole morning... More
