Arrived just before noon 11.50 - after several long hours of driving. We were tired and hoped to check in a bit early or to relax by the pool while room got cleaned. Nope! - not here - the italian woman told us "Checkin is at 14.00"... We were not even allowed to stay at the pool until our room... More

I stayed in this hotel, during the Unified World Martial Arts Championship at the end of Oct/ Nov 2014. Stefano and his team made our stay very enjoyable. He and his staff were very helpful. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, members of my team requested some alternatives which he gladly provided. My room was clean and spacious. The bed... More

This was the second hotel we stayed at during our recent honeymoon. We originally wanted to stayed at hotels in Cinque Terre, but all 4+ star hotels were fully booked, so our travel advisor booked us here. It's a little remote from all the major sights (Pisa, Cinque Terre) we wanted to see. Although it's situated in this little gorgeous... More

Such a wonderful place! Delightful staff. The hotel manager, Stefano, was cheerful and provided us with great tips for enjoying our stay in Liguria even more. The pool was perfect during the hot sunny days. The bedroom was clean and tidied up nicely every day, great service. Breakfast was more or less a traditional italian breakfast, all in all a... More

WE have just returned from our lovely trip to Italy. We stayed a couple of nights here and if we had more time - we would defintely stay here longer. THe rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast is lovely but most important it is a romantic place, quiet, grat atmosphere and amazing hospitality. The owners of this hotel really... More

We recently stayed for two nights at this family run hotel. Stefano looked after us so well, and gave us great advice for the local area. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant. Would recommend. Thanks again !

The hotel is all ariund a good Hotel, comfortable, clean, look after in all detail. But what is amazing is that you go back to 70', vico Magistretti has entirely designe the hotel, not only architecture, but also furniture, lights, materials, etc Owners have ben so intelligent to keep everything live! And you go back to 70' and you feel... More

The hotel owner and restaurant manager were very friendly. The restaurant evening meal was absolutely excellent and priced as expected for higher standards and within the same price range as regional restaurants. Breakfast buffet was reasonably sufficient and continually supplied throughout the offered (we tested this with alterations in daily plans and wake-up hours). This hotel is somewhat old and... More

I stopped at this hotel with my siter and 14 year old son. We stayed Friday and Saturday nights. The hotel itself was nice enough but there were a number of factors that spoilt the stay. The Air conditioning is not functioning the staff try to say that it is working because you hear the noise of the fan. The... More

The location of the Locanda is perfect if you have a car: 45 minutes to Lucca, 50 to Pisa, 30 to Lerici and around 1 hour to Cinque Terre. It's the first bit of country you can find north of the Viareggio-Forte del Marmi complex. It has a beautiful very clean swimming pool. There is a huge field of basil... More
