At the end of our road trip through Italy we would up at the Feldmüllerhof hotel in Sand in Taufers. And I must say that even though the hotel is a little over our budget, it's worth every penny, or eurocent for that matter. We have just spent a perfect ski/ spa week at this hotel: very friendly staff and owners; impressive modernist interiors; excellent in house restaurant and mini spa facilities; and, child-friendly atmosphere. If you are a full on skier, then you will exhaust local pistes, incl Speikboden, but if you are skiing in a family with mixed ability and looking for... more

My family stayed here for a week over Christmas and it was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is family run and operated and yet it is all very professional and state of the art.
