There is a considerable risk booking with this hotel. Our ferry was unable to reach Salina due to weather. We were left in Lipari. We called the hotel immediately and followed up with an email. On our honeymoon trip we stayed a lot longer than planned in Sicily and especially on Salina. Hotel Principe was a great hotel with nice rooms (with veranda), a lovely pool and very friendly service. My husband and I stayed at the Principe di Salina for two nights in early June, 2008. The hotel itself was beautiful and very clean. The grounds are very well kept.
