Staff really friendly and welcoming. A simple but nice family-run hotel. The restaurant is quite good, we tried pasta which was amazing. Breakfast is good, you can even try ricotta, which is an Italian cheese. Room was big, clean and quiet, so we strongly recommend it.

This is a small, family run hotel with simple but spotless rooms, charming staff and a very friendly atmosphere. There is a small, informal bar with an outside terrace and a garden for evening glasses of prosecco. The staff will make up a packed lunch for you if you are spending the day hiking or cycling. A short stroll to... More

I was at this hotel as part of an Explore walking holiday. What strikes you about this place is the people. The hotel is family run and the family are absolutely lovely. The hotel is simple but clean and in the centre of Orosei. There is a good selection for the buffet breakfast to set you up for the day... More

We got a room at Hotel Sortale on the top floor, facing the garden. It was quiet, generously sized, modestly but adequately furnished. The air conditioning worked well, and even though it was switched off during the middle of the day when people are out, the room was pleasantly cool when we were in. The wi-fi worked reliably. The room... More

I stayed at this hotel while on an Explore walking tour. The hotel is close to the town centre and 2 to 3 km from the beach. This hotel is run by a family. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. The food was good quality. The breakfasts offered a wide range of different foods. We ate sea food... More

We stayed 5 days here on their 5 day deal. We wished we hadn't.The room was ok with plenty of drawer and hanging space, with a balcony with a table and chairs where you can eat. The room was kept reasonably clean. there were 2 sachets of shampoo/gel to start with but they were NOT replaced during the full 5... More

I couldn't recommend this hotel more highly. The family were so incredibly friendly, cheerful and helpful. They really made us feel welcome in their clean and well run hotel and Mama's homemade pasta is a treat not to be missed. Fantastico!!

WOW!! ok to begin, this family running this amazing place is wonderful--first night, I left my coach purse with money and passport on terrace, to run to my room and receive skype call from children and grandchildren, then after a lengthy call and wine, I went to sleep to find the next morning my purse was missing.... I LEFT IT... More
