We visited there at Autumn,2012. The hotel is located at a beautiful valley. Upon arrived; the staff already impressived me by greeting my name. The GM of the hotel was a friendly and very hospitality lady. After they heard me and my boy friend were coming to take pictures, they lenned us their tranditional tibeten clothes. All the tibet people... More

Never though I would go there--Shangri-La in my early age (24), but it indeed was an amazing trip even though it had only been 4 days. Well, the hotel we stayed in, Banyan Tree Ringha is quite a new experience to me also, like a fram yet really neat. Nice room outlay, warm receptionist, the place is just full of... More

An out standing experience and service in a remote part of China... The standard of service and understanding of English was very refreshing, Especially Troy from the Restaurant and Jane from Front Office. We stayed two nights and could not fault any areas of the resort. Booked a Tibetan Spa Suite, worth the money... but make sure you have a... More

I like the country and animals very much. It make feel like I had own a manor myself. When I got up at the morning, the sunshine, the voice of animals always can make me feel refreshing. Every day I think I will become one of them someday if I could~.

An amazing experience - truly culturally connected - the villas are old houses rebuilt for the Banyan Tree guests - the service is impeccable and everything is great. The Front Desk team was very good and accurate in guiding us where to go, our driver Harry was awesome and helped us a lot. The food and beverage was also great.... More

This is a wonderful, unique experience! Situated alongside a river, the hotel guest rooms are two-storey Tibetan-style houses with a courtyard and balcony, all warm, cosy and authentically decorated. To step into this very welcoming accommodation is a delightful surprise, as it is a combination of traditional Tibetan and luxury hotel brand styles. The bedroom and living area is upstairs,... More

We had a wonderful stay here, our rooms were ready and were already warm when we arrived which we appreciated. The suites are unique, old traditional buildings complete with private courtyards. They are very comfortable with a huge low bed and living area upstairs and bathroom and dressing area downstairs. There is emergency lighting too for the not infrequent power cuts that... What a wonderful place to stay, completely unique in our experience. Our little Tibetan house was gorgeous, so cosy and beautiful, so much care has been taken with the renovation, furnishing and décor of these old houses. A perfect combination of traditional Tibetan and five star luxury. The food was excellent which was just as well as there is absolutely... More
