We stayed here overnight after the first and very exhausting hiking day through the gorge's 28 bends. First we saw a 90 RMB double room with shared bathroom. It didn't look very appealing after such a tough trek. Then we saw the 150 RMB triple room ensuite which was much nicer. It had very comfortable beds with electric blankets, warm... More

Located on the high trail of the spectacular Tiger Leaping Gorge, this hostel hardly has to try- and it doesn't. Rooms are small, dark and lack screens to keep mosquitoes out and allow cool air in. Bathrooms are basic (though they do have conventional western style toilets)and not very clean.Take a torch, as the short journey from bar/restaurant to your... More

We have stayed in this g-h overnight when hiking along gorge. Room (better one with own bathroom, hot water shower, 3 beds, 150rmb/room) is ok, we missed just any hanger for drying of our things. Food was tasty and beer (Dali) surprisingly good.

This is a really nice resting point, if you leave from Qiao Tou, Naxi is just not far enough along. This isn't luxurious, but it was clean, and we had blankets, electricity, and own bathroom. Pretty good food (and ample beer!). People were very nice. As I side note, the next day we walked to the Halfway GuestHouse, and it... More

We started our hike around lunchtime in Qiao To and, having stopped for lunch at Naxi family inn, after 4.5 hours we arrived at Teahorse later afternoon - hot and ready for a shower! We had a room which had a double and a single bed, toasty blankets and a private bathroom with pedestal flushing toilet and a hot shower.... More

The views from here are incredible! The service and food was excellent! Get a room with private bath. Lots of hot water and a western toilet! This is much better than the Halfway guesthouse. Try the apple pie! It's deep fried!

Lovely location, stunning views of the snow capped mountains from the rooms and court yard, very pretty hostel, great food, basic but nice rooms, clean and with heated blankets not that we needed them, highly recommended

Cannot review the rooms as we didn’t sleep there but we stopped here for lunch during our 2-day-hike in march 2013. On Wikitravel is written that they serve delicious food and the family is very friendly and hospitable…That`s why we were so surprised when the family (more the girls though) seemed not very interested. Rather boring they took our order... More

We started our tiger leaping gorge trek quite late on the first day and decided to spend the first night at the tea Horse guesthouse. It was a very good choice. The rooms are clean, the beds are confortable, the place is quiet with a nice view from the balcony, the food is good and the staff / family very... More
