We have stayed in this g-h overnight when hiking along gorge. Room (better one with own bathroom, hot water shower, 3 beds, 150rmb/room) is ok, we missed just any hanger for drying of our things. Food was tasty and beer (Dali) surprisingly good.

This is a really nice resting point, if you leave from Qiao Tou, Naxi is just not far enough along. This isn't luxurious, but it was clean, and we had blankets, electricity, and own bathroom. Pretty good food (and ample beer!). People were very nice. As I side note, the next day we walked to the Halfway GuestHouse, and it... More

We started our hike around lunchtime in Qiao To and, having stopped for lunch at Naxi family inn, after 4.5 hours we arrived at Teahorse later afternoon - hot and ready for a shower! We had a room which had a double and a single bed, toasty blankets and a private bathroom with pedestal flushing toilet and a hot shower.... More

The views from here are incredible! The service and food was excellent! Get a room with private bath. Lots of hot water and a western toilet! This is much better than the Halfway guesthouse. Try the apple pie! It's deep fried!

Lovely location, stunning views of the snow capped mountains from the rooms and court yard, very pretty hostel, great food, basic but nice rooms, clean and with heated blankets not that we needed them, highly recommended

Cannot review the rooms as we didn’t sleep there but we stopped here for lunch during our 2-day-hike in march 2013. On Wikitravel is written that they serve delicious food and the family is very friendly and hospitable…That`s why we were so surprised when the family (more the girls though) seemed not very interested. Rather boring they took our order... More

We started our tiger leaping gorge trek quite late on the first day and decided to spend the first night at the tea Horse guesthouse. It was a very good choice. The rooms are clean, the beds are confortable, the place is quiet with a nice view from the balcony, the food is good and the staff / family very... More

The location was perfect for us, just when we needed to stop. However the place is not very nice, we tought the halfway and naxi's family where much nicer. The bedroom are ok, the bed is ok for china. Ask for a room on the second floor to have a nice view from the balcony. The food was not so... More

The rooms with private bathrooms are log cabin like but they dont clean the bathrooms between guests so beware! I think this guesthouse is popular as they are a good halfway point on the trek but my recommendation is to keep walking for an hour and stay at the half way guesthouse instead. This place has a money driven atttitude... More
