We have just returned from a lovely week at Villa Castellani. I agree with previous posters that the atmosphere created by the family is what makes this friendly and welcoming hotel special. Our pretty room had a view over the rolling hills to nearby hill top towns, we enjoyed the pool and the meals were delicious. We followed Ricardo's suggestions... more

The hotel Villa Cestallani is a hidden gem in a hidden gem of a region. Family-owned and managed, it could not be a more welcoming spot. The meals are home cooked with local ingredients. The rooms are lovely, with peaceful, spectacular country views outside and complimentary wireless internet inside. The family was as welcoming as they come. more
