I stayed here with a friend in September 2012. Arrived hungry after a long transfer from airport with rude driver. No food on offer except very dry sandwiches and cake. Room was adequate, certainly not 5 star and seemed clean but 'felt' dirty. All inclusive holiday but bar staff turned their backs on us when we went to order drinks.... More

When we arrived they did not have a room for us, and had to stay in another Hotel (supposedly 5 star) that was a joke. Staff rude at Pirates Bar, not at all helpful. And Bar Staff serve only those who they want too, we waited 20 minutes one evening, an got so fed up we went into the town... More

This might have been a 4 star quality hotel some 30 years ago. Restored long time ago so all of the infrastructure, rooms & bathrooms especially, looks old, dirty, unpleasant. Some of the equipment in the playground area seems to fall apart because of the rust and usage. Staff unfriendly, at "Pirate's bar" I would say rude. Cleaning service only... More

We've just returned from our 2nd holiday in Corfu this year. The 1st was brilliant, having been to The Aquis Agios Gordios. However this time, things weren't so good. Acharavi is at the North end of the island and a popular resort for our Germanic cousins. Unfortunately the majority of the locals have taken on the worst stereotypes of the... More

Firstly i dont know where they get the 5star from??? maybe its self acclaimed. hotdog sausages as a replacement for real sausages for breakfast dinner and tea. a real 5star would serve propper sausages, no waitress service, 5 star would be! A mad dash for the lack of tea cups, glasses and other things, a little like the mad rush... More

I agree this is definitely not 5 star. 3 * probably. Staff very unhelpful and some downright rude. No information when you get there. No effort given at all to make you welcome. The description of a 'fully equipped kitchen' is deceiving. We had a dishrack - no dishes. No kettle, no cups, no cutlery. No anything of any use... More

firstly this is not 5 star, 3 at most. theres an equal mix between english and german, but the hotel are apparently german run, and it shows. English are put into different blocks from German and after looking round one of their rooms theres a clear difference. Our room was very basic. two single beds pushed together with very worn... Hotel is hour and half coach trip from airport. You needs lots of insect repellent as we got bitten loads. Hotel is in a lovely location weather very hot. Nice shops and restaurants very close by if you go out the front and turn right. Rooms are clean and spacious but basic more 3 star than 5. Was very disappointed... More

Myself, my daughter and grandchildren (aged 9 and 7) have just returned from this hotel after a week's holiday. We paid quite a lot of money for All Inclusive but my experience of All Inclusive in other countries is far superior to what was on offer here. Firstly, the cons: This hotel is definitely not a 5 star. I would... More
