We booked last minute and arrived 2 am on the 2nd August to be told they had over booked. We were moved to the nearby Neptuno Beach resort (highly recommended you stay here instead) and did our utmost to stay. We couldn't but paid extra to walk up every day and spend our time there as the Marilena is a... More

I don't understand where all the good comments come from. The rooms have an ok space and a quiet, well functioning air condition..although a little slow. But that's the only positive thing.. the staff don't speak English very well, and are rather rude at times. The doors are soo thin you can hear everything. I hardly slept the entire week.... More

Myself and my husband have just returned from an AI one week trip to Hotel Marilena. We were first put in the apartments which were not nice at all. (ground floor 401)We were then moved to a newer room closer to the pool. All of the rooms are very basic, all have air con, but no reliable wifi (you can... More

I was positively surprised when we arrived at the hotel. The lobby is modern, staff friendly (with a few exceptions). Our room was really nice, but it didn't have a nice view (it was facing the alley in the back of the hotel). There wasn't much privacy on the balcony either - even though you have your own, those next... More

Stayed here for one night last June (2014) and only good things come to my mind. Nice hotel, large rooms with nice bathrooms, very nice buffet for breakfast and lunch/dinner and an awesome pool that I really loved. Staff was OK and my impression is very good after all. I guess it is family run but they are doing a... More

Overall it's a very good 3 star hotel for a relaxing holiday: Rooms: spacious rooms with thick walls, so you can't hear your neighbours Food and drinks: the restaurant has a very good chef. There is a big choice of food, everything is very tasty. The bar offers lots of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for All inclusive: coctails, raki, ouzo,... More

It is a nice hotel with a great location. Very close to the beach, few little shops and restaurants around. It is not perfect thou... The pool is quite small and without any designated area for kids which is always nice. Rooms are capacious with lovely bathrooms but not cleaned properly. The day we checked in we had to wipe... I stayed at this hotel in May 2014 with a group of ERASMUS students. We where staying in a room for 3, although there where only 2 beds and 1 couch, the room should definitely be only for two persons. The bathroom was OK, nothing fancy, but strangely only small soaps given, no shampoo. I liked the food, quite good... More

Booked allocation on arrival with Olympic holidays, we were given a list of 5 possible hotels that we would be stopping at so upon arrival at the airport we were a bit surprised with the name of the hotel allocated to us,never the less we have travelled to Greece on numerous occasions and had not had any bad experiences. We... More
