Absolutely amazing food! Beautiful view! Welcoming host and hostess! I have eaten at 5-start restaurants around the globe and the food at Manitoulin Inn gives those restuarants a run for their money! Note: Restaurant opens at 5 pm for dinner.

Spent hours driving there last Saturday. Arrived at 2:30pm and restaurant closed til 5pm! Hotel booked. Had to turn around drove an hour to Gore Bay to eat. Disappointing. It's obvious that tourist have to drive a long way to get there and nothing to eat. Neighboring store barely had anything on shelves. I saw two other cars turn around... More

July and August is the busiest time of the tourist season. We wish you would have booked a room before you drove all the way to the most western tip of Manitoulin Island. We look forward being your host and share the beauty of Meldrum Bay with you. More

The Inn was recommended by another hotel when we were touring the island. So glad we visited there. The inn is historic, the proprietors so welcoming and genuinely enjoy hosting their guests. The food was amazing, served on the verandah overlooking the yard or the water. If you have the opportunity, stay over or just go for lunch. Shirin will... More

Thank you for a lovely dinner experience last night! The trout and the key lime pie were to die for. It was so lovely to meet you. The view from our table was spectacular. I will gladly drive back from Toronto for a repeat experience!

We were two couples who arrived near the end of dinner service after a long day traveling by motorcycle from Kitchener. We were greeted warmly and made to feel at home right away. Everything was immaculate especially the hospitality of Shirin and her daughter. After a delicious meal were retired to the fire pit to enjoy the other guests company... More

Great location, delicious restaurant, wonderful views. The gardens surrounding it were beautiful. There is a store next door with some groceries, an lcbo, and local art that was really interesting and helpful. I will be back again 100%

We biked 90 km from Providence Bay to Meldrum Bay so the inn was a welcome sight. I loved the whimsical garden. Our room was very nice and we had dinner in the Inn dining room. Worked very well for bike touring. You can see our full review here, http://wp.me/p2H8o1-mhC.

Meldrum Bay Inn is a wonderful place! Myself and two pals cycled to Meldrum Bay and stayed at the Inn. Shirin and Bob are both great hosts with interesting backgrounds and are very engaging with all their guests. Our meals were fantastic, the rooms clean and very nice. Next time, my wife and I will visit the Inn. This is... More
