There is no place better, WELCOME HOME! Quaint, rustic, love the atmosphere especially outside seating...Enjoy speaking to the owners and staff. Enjoyed the entertainment, sat on the divan with a cup of tea.

Our rooms were very clean, the bathrooms/ shower were beautifully done and very clean, we had all we needed available to us, we enjoyed the sitting room with all the interesting things we could do such as reading, watching TV, history on artifacts and more, and this place has an impeccable view to boot :) The owners are such a... This is going to be a short review; the inn is beautifully maintained, the rooms are lovely and furnished with beautiful antiques, the public areas contain many interesting historical photographs, the meals are excellent and the service provided by Shirin and her staff, exemplary. This is a great place to "get away from it all".

Although the rooms are quite small, they have charm and character. The shared bathrooms have been tastefully updated and are sparkling clean. Shirin makes you feel welcome from the moment you enter and by the time we left 3 days later we felt like family. Bob's cooking is just spectacular. I would recommend this historic inn to anyone who really... More

After checking out our booking at the disappointing Silver Birches "resort" we almost decided that we had to cancel our holiday and return home. Luckily there was a room left here and our vacation was salvaged! Rooms were quaint, clean and food was lovely! We highly recommend this lovely gem !!

i was somewhat dissapointed with the meals and their costs. The fresh pan fried fish left lots to be desired. The bag lunches we not very impresive. On my next buisness trip i shall be looking elsewhere for a place to stay.

This was our first visit to Meldrum Bay. The historic inn and tranquil setting were delightful. The hostess was thoughtful and attentive. A delicious breakfast was served at 9 a.m. We also ate dinner in the restaurant the previous night. It was excellent. The guest rooms are located on the 2nd floor which is accessible by stairs, no elevator. There... More

Lovely setting at a true vintage inn. The charm of this historic inn has not been affected by the renovations. Hosts (Shirin and Bob) were very pleasant. Our dinner was excellent ahthough be sure to reserve ahead of time for dinner as it is very popular. Not a lot to do in the area but well worth the trip for... More

What more could you want? Beautiful location on a very scenic bay. A marina within 50 yards of the inn, where you can also swim. A historic building well adapted to its current use. Tastefully furnished and decorated rooms. Quiet nights for deep sleeping! Very hospitable and efficient hostess in Shirin. Excellent restaurant where you can eat inside or outside,... More
