I love this place. We spent 8 nights here , met new friends, met Ginny and Des. I'll always remember their lovely manners, their kindness and their true sense of humour. Lovely furnished, the Old Chapel House is a place where I could live in. I also liked the small town of St. Mabyn, where there is a nice pub... More

Day 38 of my walk to lands end and The Old Chapel House has to be the best so far. Very welcoming with great cakes and tea, a truly stunning room, great bath to sooth the aches and just the most helpful hosts, thanks again.

A very enjoyable overnight stay again with Ginny & Des, the welcome as always first class, with tea and cakes. All aspects of the bedroom room were very homely and warm, including the ginger biscuits. The pancake breakfast was a delight with plenty of fresh coffee and toast, after a fresh fruit starter. We had an evening meal at the... More

Des too is a great host, and Tamar and their cat very entertaining. We ate in the village pub 5 mins from the chapel and their food and the menu was very... More

We stayed at The Old Chapel House for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were warmly greeted by Des & Ginny and enjoyed a much needed cup of tea & Ginny's lovely homemade lemon drizzle cake. Our room was spotless & the bed was super comfy. Ginny was always suggesting places to visit & asking how our day had... More

Fab breakfasts, very welcoming hosts, and a spotless room with everything we needed and more. Views from our top room were fab overlooking sheep and lambs in the fields beyond, and the room... More

We stayed at The Old Chapel House for three nights and had an excellent stay. Ginny and Des were very friendly and welcoming: always happy to give tips on where to go/eat and asking how our day was. The room was big, bright, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It was really nice to relax in after a day out walking (especially... More
