Ginny and her husband go out of their way to ensure your stay at their B&B is an absolute pleasure. The overall accommodation is spacious and pretty awe-inspiring on entry, with a beautiful high-ceiling living room (clearly once the Chapel) a beautiful introduction to the property. Our room was clean, spacious (even with the camp bed slotted in to sleep... More

Ginny and Des always make sure that your every need is catered for, and will always go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Plus they are a font of local knowledge, booking up restaurants and giving you routes to the most magical walks.

Just viewed this on Tripadvisor. My husband and I stayed in room 1 at The Old Chapel for our 20th Wedding anninersay and had a great experience. I would call it a suite which was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed and a very nice en suite. We were welcomed by the hosts and taken to our room which... More

Lovely hosts Des and Ginny, nothing was too much trouble. Our second visit, just as perfect as first visit. Beautiful rooms in a unique and stunning converted chapel. Very comfortable and clean. Visit enhanced by Tamar, the softest, friendly Retriever. Will definitely be going back.

All has already been said; cannot but confirm. Charming hosts, charming place. Having the habit of dining late, for British standards, Ginny helpfully organized the reservations in nearby very good Inns.

We stayed in Room 2 with my 2 year old. They very kindly supplied a proper bed for him instead of a travel cot. The room was very clean, spotless white bed sheets and fresh white towels in the shower. We stayed two nights and the second day when we came back we had a welcome surprise that our bed... More

We arrived to be greeted by Ginny, who helped us with our bags and gave us a very warm welcome. After showing us around and then to our room, we were offered a pot of tea and some beautiful lemon cake. Everything about the B & B was explained, along with details about the village, with both Ginny and Des... More

On arrival at The Old Chapel House we were greeted with tea & cake, much welcome after our long drive. Our rooms like the rest of the establishment were spotless & very comfortable. The breakfast choice ranged from full English to cereals and everything in between. Summing up, a fanatic bed and breakfast which I would not hesitate to recommend... More

You can tour all of Cornwall from this location and what a haven to return to each night, with a good pub within easy walking distance for an evening meal. Our three night stay was top quality in every aspect and we would not hesitate to go back again. Thank you Des and Ginny for making us so welcome.

I love this place. We spent 8 nights here , met new friends, met Ginny and Des. I'll always remember their lovely manners, their kindness and their true sense of humour. Lovely furnished, the Old Chapel House is a place where I could live in. I also liked the small town of St. Mabyn, where there is a nice pub... More
