Although the pictures of the hotel imply great luxury, only a few rooms in the main building (premium) live up to the billing. Other rooms are plain and not so quiet due to location near non-hotel neighbors. Clean, though. Parking on the compound is plentiful when events are not going on. Service is excellent. The restaurant has excellent food and... More

The photos of the hotel makes it look amazing and I suppose the fact that we only paid 90Euros for the night should have given us a clue as to what to expect. The place is really quirky - the buildings amazing but so rundown with peeling paint, cracked glass and large unfilled cracks in the walls. It is certainly... More

We booked this hotel through British Airways for our Honeymoon and were not disappointed at all. Yes, the area it is in is rundown, but so is a lot of Southern Italy. The approach to Villa Signorini is signposted locally, and down a small street, with gated, security entry phone access. Once through the gates (to steal someone elses comment!)... More

This Villa was a short walk to Ercolano and a bit more of a walk to the train station to get to Pompeii. But, entering the gate was an experience itself. The grounds were fun and the Diorama in the small enclosed cupola was so amazing. The food was EXCELLENT and the service charming. You can tell it needs a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights at the start of our Italian holiday using it as a base to visit Pompeii/Herculaneum/Vesuvius. We loved our stay here. Everything from the beautiful, spacious entrance courtyard to the super friendly helpful staff, excellent food & clean, tidy rooms. The whole place is gated so you park off the street amongst shady lime trees.... More

The staff are amazingly helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The property dates back to 700 years ago. The main building is richly decorated with statues, paintings, and frescos. The lawn in front of the main building is vast and flanked by pleasant gardens. The view from the balcony of the main building is stunning. The sight of Sorrento,... More

A very mixed experience: the hotel itself was very grand and the rooms in the main building, which had been recently renovated, were spacious and furnished with antiques. The aircon was a bit capricious but it didn't stop us getting a good night's sleep. The staff were warm and welcoming and tried hard to please. On the other hand, the... More

We stayed for one night in June. After reading the reviews in TripAdvisor I thought I knew what to expect. It outdid my expectations. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast and dinner were very good. Security is excellent. We left our luggage and drove to Herculaneum, ask at hotel for driving and parking directions.... More

We stayed two nights here and visited Pompeii and Herculaneum. The hotel is convenient for the Circumvesuviana railway to Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii etc. It is also a very pleasant place to spend the evening, with a lovely park and excellent restaurant. We were initially disappointed to find we were in a modern chalet instead of the villa itself, but sitting... More

We stayed for three nights in the Villa Signorini, taking Ercolano as our base camp for visits to the Ercolano Ruins, Pompei and Napels City. Capri would be a lovely destination too, but count one day more, then. The hotel and its gardens are really a palace, in the architectural sense but it also makes you feel like living in... More
