Bob and Mary Flint are excellent hosts without being obtrusive in any way. They do excellent breakfasts. The house is old but strikingly clean, the bathrooms have been upgraded since our last stay in 2011 which is a huge improvement and adds to the comfort Our stay this time was for 4 nights, we love the situation on the river,... Set in a beautiful location with good amenities. Owners were very helpful and friendly, couldn't do enough for you, but not in an intrusive fashion. The rooms were probably the cleanest I've ever been in, being an older property the beams & little nooks can pick up dust, not here. Gleaming bathroom and room. Bed was comfortable and food was... We decide to return on past visits and nothing has changed our minds about the cross keys, excellent hosts, great value and delicious breakfast. We cant fault the accommodation or our host's. Very friendly family hotel, nice walks along the river and close to local amenities, WONDERFUL

Stayed here for 1 night, had a really nice break. Owners were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast very nice, room was big with 4-poster bed, lots of nice little touches like loads of smellies in the bathroom and hot water bottle. Would stay here again :-)

I came up to Norfolk from Wiltshire with my mum for family funeral. I cannot express how delightful this place is. The owners were lovely, taking the time to make sure we had everything we needed and to chat to us when they saw us. I was so impressed how clean the rooms are and also with the thoughtful detail... From the first call to book the room, all the way through to our farewell, the owners could not have been more friendly and hospitable. Room lovely and comfortable with far more facilities than you would expect - an abundance of bath "smellies", bathrobes, lovely cookie biscuits......What more can we say Thanks Eileen and Gerald

It was very nice meeting you both, and thank you for your nice comments. We try and make our guests feel welcome, and treat them as we would like to be treated ourselves. We hope to see you both again here at Crosskeys More

Excellent breakfast, pleasant outlook, very decent room, nice people. I'd echo the comments about the loo seat that won't stay up: a minor glitch but irritating. But my main gripe is the Wifi: I was in Room 5 and it was totally unreliable. I don't mind having no connectivity at all, but I do mind complete unpredictability when it is... More

Thank you for your comments. Being a rural location the Broadband is not up to the same standard and speed as in towns and more built up areas. The good news is that we are being upgraded with fibre optic, but unfortunately the time you stayed we were experiencing intermittent service due to the work being done on the junction... More

we have visited the cross keys on a number of occasions, and it gets better we feel like we are greeted as friends rather than guests, its a lovely atmosphere. We had a bedroom in the main house (four poster and double corner bath) loads of room even a sofa to sit on. We felt really well looked after and... More
