We traveled from Hosteria Pehoe to the Estancia and we thought we ended up in a very strange place. We met some wonderful people, Anna Maria, Philip from Brasil and a very nice girl from Suisse. The room we got was very good, the first night the electricity went out at 22:00, romantic. The breakfast and dining room was nice... More

The estancia is a bit further away but has beautiful views. I found it interesting to stay at an estancia and get to know about their life and work there. We received a warm welcome and a little tour of the farm. The rooms are in an old and charming house with an inviting living room. They are a bit... More

Coming back tired from a day long hike to a home cooked meal and a comfortable bed, what more can you ask for? This is what Cerro Guido offers. The chef has been there for years and cooks the most delicious and heart warming meals. She's a sweet woman who makes sure you're fed. The rooms are simple but with... More

There are many nice or very nice hotels located in the vicinity of the Torres del Paine Park in Chile, suited for those who want to visit the Glacier Grey, climb to the 3 Torres, or engage themselves in the challenging (and wonderful) W or O treks. However staying at the Estancia Cerro Guido is a unique experience I would... More

I spent two nights at this hotel and had to write a review of it. Bottom line? Stay somewhere else. The only reason I didnt give this just one star was because of the food. This hotel caters to people visiting the nearby Torres Del Paine National Park. Of course, I use the term nearby loosely, as it will probably... More

There are very few places to stay around Torres del Paine and all the rest seem to get truly nasty reviews, both for their accommodations and for their food. This place is not fancy by any means, but the rooms are comfortable and the food in the dining room is exceptionally good. The first night we were there one of... More

Authentic! With no luxury touches but in a cozy, friendly environment. Located in one of the lodes estancias in Patagonia that still works as one. We were able to share some of the rural activities with the local “gauchos”. Our bedroom was simple but still well appointed and with a nice comfortable bed. Lighting could be improved (low energy light-bulbs... More

I could gush for days about our experience at Cerro Guido while we enjoyed Torres del Paine. The rooms were very comfortable with the bed being one of the best on which I have slept. Would note that in the morning you can hear people walking in the hallways but I never heard any sounds from the adjacent rooms. The... More

We had a wonderfull stay at Cerro Guido during our winter holidays. What a splendid scenery ! The staff was very helpfull and really cared. The estancia is still working and we had the pleasure to visit the sheep shearing shed just before the work started. We recommend to take a horse tour, even if you never tried it before... More

By a great stroke of luck, my husband and I found ourselves heading to Patagonia to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We knew we wanted to spend several days exploring Torres del Paine, so I did extensive research on where to stay in or near the park. While my husband and I enjoy the outdoors, we're not very camping-savvy. We prefer... More
