The main room is inviting, everything is quite modern and nice, beautiful location (reachable also by boat) and being a 'refugio' it is a really nice place. Beware that there is no light at night until 07:30 in the morning (better to have a shower at night, as there is also no warm water until 07:30). The only problem of... More

I love this refugio for so many reasons. First, the refugio itself is beautiful and comfortable, offering great beds and delicious food from talented kitchen staff (led by chef Eduardo!). Second, the staff is very friendly and helpful, in particular administrator Rene who helped us with our reservations and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. Third, this refugio... We stayed here on our last night in the park and it was a great way to end things. The refugio was only built in 2010 and it shows - it's modern, clean and very nice. It feels like a mountain lodge, but still has a modern edge. The rooms are shared bunkbeds, but very comfortable and warm. The food... More

The building is nice, comfy and warm. There is a great lounge with cosy sofas and chairs. There is also a nice deck. We stayed there on our last night doing the W as a treat. The beds were comfortable and clean. However, the food was not very nice, especially breakfast, dinner was alright, but brekky was really limited. Instant... More

It was our last night in the park, after the week of being there. We did the W trail and finished at Grey. So we saw all the refugios on W trail and this one is definitely the best. The building is nice and very well maintained , the rooms are for 4 , the beds are wide and comfortable,... More

We spent our first night in Torres Del Paine in a refugio bed and glad we decided to stay instead of hiking back to Grande. The facilities were clean and location perfect! Don't forget to take the short hike to to see the glacier. The dining area and bar is like a nice lodge not a refugio, pisco sour was... More

Aside from the private cabins at Cuernos, this is by far the best refugio. I would skip Paine Grande and push it here from Domes Frances. The only bad part is the overly salty treats at the bar which I am to assume increases consumption.

We arrived very late at the refugio, and the staff went out of their way to provide us some food and warm tea. Even offered to carry our backpacks to the dorm. The place itself is very clean, and well maintained. As others said, we received excellent food, service and smiles. The food was actually very good and in generous... More

After a long long long walk from Perros and we only want to rest after a traditional problem with our reservation the staff fix our problem and help us with some very useful information, the food was excellent I do recommend to speak with the kitchen staff and not just sit and wait for them to know your personals restriction... Excellent - by far the best refugio in Torres del Paine on the "W loop." Staff was supurb and very helpful. The restaurant and bar great food and service. Rooms by far the best of any of the refugios we stayed at. It was a great way to end 6 days and 93 kilometers of hiking. Stay an extra day... More
