This was a wonderful adventure. The treks, food, location and view are stunning. Trekked two legs of the W: Base of Torres and Valle Frances. In the Valle Frances trekked to the Campamento Britanico which was challenging but offered excellent views. The trek to Campamento Britanico was more challenging than the Base of Torres. Tim was our guide on most... More

The view of the Horns (Los Cuernos) over the lake is just fabulous in any weather, and the smells from the kitchen very inviting. We stopped here because of the view and the short walk to the pretty little falls (Salto Chico). They offer only package deals with all kinds of half-day and full day excursions available. Over twice the... More

Wondered where we had come when we arrived at Explora but when we went inside it was just magnificent. Staff were brilliant, meals were magnificent and the view from our room was - well cannot come up with a suitable word.. You could sit at your window all day and just be amazed as clouds and colours changed. The view... More

This place is magic. It was recommended by Imagine Latin America who I trust implicitly and it didn't disappoint. After a long flight and drive, you need something special and this place is just the job. I can't tell you which is better - the scenery, the lodge, the food, the wine, the walking, the horse riding - all I... More

Absolutely amazing property! We were thrilled, as it was the *perfect* place to stay to celebrate our 40th anniversary, and we met other, honeymooning couples as well. Beautifully appointed, situated, and equipped, with lots of lounge area to relax in, rooms with astounding views, a cozy bar, a 'classroom', and world-class cuisine. The hostess, the staff, and the many guides... More

This was the most incredible trip. The hotel is in a stunning location. Even if you merely came here and sat at the window all day long you would be satisfied. Every room has an incredible view of the Towers and the beautiful lake. It is a total splurge, but completely worth it. We did legs of the "W" hike... More

Torres del Paine is stunning but what made it extra special was staying at explora! I am struggling to put all the wonderful memories and thoughts going through my head. The highlights are many, from the lodge itself, the beautifully appointed rooms with breathtaking views of the lake and the massif horns, the GUIDES are excellent and really try get... More

Explora Patagonia was definitely the highlight of our honeymoon. It was worth the splurge! Rooms: beautiful rooms with a fantastic view. We stayed in the room facing the massif and it was absolutely gorgeous. After returning from a full day of hiking, it was amazing being able to sit and relax in the room and have a gorgeous view while... More

First, let me share that I am a huge fan of Explora properties. Within the first hour of arriving you feel totally relaxed. There is a calmness and peaceful feeling at this hotel. All the open space of the small conversation lounge areas, bar, restaurant all face the glacier green lake and majestic snow capped mountains. It takes your breath... More

We spent four wonderful days at this beautiful hotel in the amazing Torres del Paine National Park.the hotel is an Eco lodge and concern for the environment was apparent throughout our stay. All the staff at the hotel and all the guides were extremely courteous and professional. When you stay here you are purchasing a total package which includes all... More
