We spent four wonderful days at this beautiful hotel in the amazing Torres del Paine National Park.the hotel is an Eco lodge and concern for the environment was apparent throughout our stay. All the staff at the hotel and all the guides were extremely courteous and professional. When you stay here you are purchasing a total package which includes all... More

Start with the view. The lodge is situated on the lake and has a terrific view of the massif of the southern Andes. While the location in Torres del Paine Park means a fairly long ride from the airport in Punta Arenas, it means a shorter ride when you go for excursions. The lodge is well designed and our room... For months I was vacillating in between Explora and Awasi. I had wanted to visit the Explora for over 10 years but the Awasi looked gorgeous as well. Explora's greatest strength is it's location. It's right in the centre of the Park with a breath-taking view of the TdP massif. The hotel offers approximately 4 activities every morning and afternoon.... More

The treks are breathtaking. The guides are friendly, knowledgeable, and contagious with enthusiasm. The rooms, meals, and service are world-class. We loved experiencing the ruggedness of Patagonia and then retreating to the simple luxuriousness of the hotel. I strongly recommend Explora Patagonia. There's internet, but don't expect a good connection.

The phrase “location, location, location” must have been created after visiting the Salto Chico Hotel. It is impossible to imagine a location as perfect as this. The other major hotels are not even outside the park but have not a location such as beautiful to compete with the one of Salto Chico. Let’s see. The national park is simply amazing.... More

In January 2014 we traveled with our good friends to this spectacular five star Eco-lodge. We selected the five day, all inclusive package and were blown away with this amazing place. Nestled on Salto Chico in the Torres Del Paine National Park, it couldn't have been more idyllic. We took long hikes and horseback rides. Our Chilean guides made each... More

I was delighted to stay 3 nights/4 days at this beauty. The hotel is cozy, comfortable, sweet, excellent food, magnificent view of Torres del Paine... I enjoyed so much the tailor made excursions offered by the guides, such a personalized service "Thank you so much"! The General Manager was always around greeting and serving people. The staff knew about our... More

I stayed 5 nights at Explora Patagonia during the winter month of August 2014. As this was the low season, the hotel was not crowded and the attention I received was very personalized. The entire crew, starting with the driver who picked me up at the hotel in Punta Arenas, to the hotel staff -- including housekeeping, restaurant servers, and... More

Three friends and I planned this trip for over a year and it took us 3 days to get there but it was so worth it! I'd like to start by acknowledging the staff as exceptional.
