We stayed at this hotel as part of a small group for 3 nights. Right from the outset the staff and local guides were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. On the first afternoon we did a fairly easy local hike and then came back and had a spa in the outside spa overlooking the lake - totally amazing. Our... More

As part of at trekking group we walked in this beautiful region. The wind was unrelenting creating difficult conditions some of the higher treks were cancelled due to the danger of being blown off the trail. The accommodation in the region was of a high standard.

explora has an unbeatable location and their guided activities are excellent. The lodge offers a comfortable retreat after a busy day exploring and offers commanding views of the Paine Massif. The hot outdoor jacuzzi's are great to relax in after a busy day of activities. Even if you are not a horse rider you MUST go on a riding trip.... More

There is one thing that Explora does not control: the weather. Other than that, Explora is a unique, fantastic and wonderful hotel. From the moment you make the reservation to the last minute of your staying, everything seems to be easy and effortless. Explora staff is very helpful and extremely accommodating. I have just finished my second visit to Torres... More

Spent a week here with my Texan wife. This is a paradise located in the end of the world. It was expensive, but believe me, if you do all the excursions available, at return through yourself in the SPA and finally eat all the excellent food and wine offered in the menu, I think it is worth every penny! Among... More

Well... if you decide to go there, you're gonna be active! It's a journey to get to Torres del Paine, and the 5 hours car trip is a killer after an early wake up and 3,5 hours flight from Santiago or Buenos Aires, but so much worth it once you arrive there... The Hotel is beautiful, surrounded with nothing else... More

The Explora Patagonia is a phenomenal experience starting with the view from our room (see attached photo). All meals are included as well as guided hiking and horseback riding. There are a variety of these excursions which cover all levels of difficulty. The guides are very knowledgable and accommodating. The hotel staff is quite helpful also. The meals are excellent.... We were going to stay at a different hotel, but friends of ours had stayed at Explora Patagonia and convinced us to stay here. We are so glad we followed their advice. Yes, it's hard to get to and it's expensive, although if have stayed at another Explora, there's a discount. But even if there was not, it would be... More

Just got back from 8 days there. It surpassed my very high expectations in almost every way. The setting is Out Of This World. The views are even better than the pictures on the website. You cannot put in words how beautiful this place is. The guides are terrific. Each one is different. Each is great. We loved Victoria and... More

Amazing property. All inclusive, even bar (but not massage and laundry). Would definitely recommend. You can horse back ride, hike numerous trails of all levels of difficulty, birdwatch, swim in a lappool or chilly river (6-8°C 42-46°F). Modern decor in light colored woods with accents in azure blue that matched the color of the lakes and rivers. Amazing lunches and... More
