Tierra Patagonia Hotel is both inconspicuously and spectacularly nestled into the side of a ridge that looks across Lago Sarmiento and out to the magnificent snow-covered peaks of Torres del Paine. Every detail of the hotel's design reflects the environment into which it was so gently inserted. The beautiful S-curve structure was constructed with Beech wood and stone by Cazu... More

We stayed here for four nights which is an average stay to experience the national park and its hikes. We were very lucky with the weather which made a massive difference. When we turned up we didn't have appropriate clothing and we had to go shopping in the hotel shop. Sizes very limited at the end of season but the... More

A group of 6 had the great fortune of spending 4 nights at Tierra Patagonia in February. Everybody in our group had the time of their life and simply hated leaving. Our stay at Tierra Patagonia went by incredibly fast. We were up early, out with a super guide on a hike each day and back at the hotel in... More

I can't add much to the other glowing reviews. Beautiful facility. Small. Only 40 rooms, I believe. Architecturally very interesting. Sinks into the ground and is hard to even see as you approach. Views out of the front are totally unobstructed of the Torres. Can see nandus (flightless rhea birds) and guanacos (like smaller brown and white llamas) walking around... More

Tierra Patagonia is about 4 years old making it a more modern experience than its main competitor Explora. Designed by a Chilean architect it is magnificent and disappears into the landscape. A huge investment in Beech wood was used to build the hotel with stunning results. While clearly 5 star, it felt very warm and homey, in spite of the... More

As we live in Santiago de Chile we had the chance to wait until the very last minute to get the prefect weather forecast for Torres del Paine. Its a great hotel with unbelievable views. Each room has a great view and the Lobby is outstanding. Everything is build very environmentally friendly. The staff is very nice and overall I... More

We spent the last 4 nights of our 3-week Patagonian adventure at the Tierra and it was the perfect ending: we loved it! We had extremely high expectations and they were far exceeded; wow! The place is stunningly beautiful, with gorgeous views from every room. The staff were fantastic! Amazing service at every turn. The food was delicious. Very good... More

Always wanted to stay at the Explora Hotel in Torres del Paine but the travel agent (Protours located in Puerto Varas) suggested a new hotel...and are we glad they did. Tierra Patagonia with its ecologically/contemporary architecture and sleek gaucho style interiors...a creative chef which is important if a hotel is "all inclusive," and a warm and friendly staff and guides.... I will never forget walking through the giant entry and looking through expansive windows at the lake and Torres Del Paine. Breathtaking! I think it may be the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed.
