Tip: If you are going on longer hikes, make sure you bring at least 4-5 bottles of water with you FROM THE HOTEL as the hiking guides may not bring water in the van and you won't have opportunities on the hikes to purchase it other than one area. Bring cash on the hike as the hotels and refugio on... More

Yes, it's expensive, but so is everything in Patagonia during peak season. The hotel is situated just outside of the Rio Serrano park entrance. Buy your park pass and you can come and go from the park as much as you want for 3 days. The hotel gets a lot of traffic but isn't too worse for the wear. It's... More

The hotel is situated about a 10 minute drive away from the entrance to the park and no matter where you are in the hotel you are surrounded by magnificent views. The hotel is very modern & clean with comfy beds, good shower, and very helpful & friendly staff. The buffet style food is excellent. The weather is highly localised... More

this is clearly a superior class hotel. the rooms facing torres del paine park were spectacular. the grounds were quiet and peaceful, nice for walking. the buffet food was very good- especially breakfast. the room was huge, with 2 queen beds.

Modern hotel with professional facilities. Sitting outside after a days trekking with a cold beer looking at the most amazing view of the park-especially the horns- is a fantastic way to end the day. Buffet dinner is US$40 and there is another private restuarant near by but be prepared to wait!!

Nice hotel, excellent location, nice food. Marred only by loud music from the Lobby until after 11 PM. Stopped only by our request. The management needs got use better judgement of why people stay here.

We stayed at the Rio Serrano hotel in December as part of a family trip. As many have said, the hotel is outside the park. It's about a 10 minute drive to get into the park. While the hotel is outside the park, the view and scenery from the hotel is breath-taking. There are many wild horses that roam the... More

Like many folks, we found the Rio Serrano to be a mixed experience. The pros: the views and setting were fantastic. Five star. The food was fine to good. The guides were great (just too few). The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The cons: Across the board, the hotel was under staffed and resourced. They only had three guides... More

We stayed for three nights and were happy with the stay. There are no hikes from this hotel but it offers gorgeous views. We hadn't booked the superior rooms but requested for one and were upgraded! You could try your luck too! The hotel is outside the park and if you are in luck then you can take the Milodon... More

This hotel is located just outside the park. There aren't really any hikes close by except one that will take you up a small mountain to a lagoon. Beautiful views from there. The hotel is fairly modern with confortable rooms. We arrived from hosteria Pehoe which had a good location but very poor rooms so it was a relief to... More
