For the price you pay, it's supposed to be better. The good: -perfect location, just outside the park -great view -bar at the hotel is really good -good breakfast The bad: -horrible service, no one helps at anything -bad restaurant, expensive with really average food -room ok, but I expect more for the price -no wifi in the room, just... Located on the edge of the National Park this is a beautifully located hotel which stands facing the 'Cuernos del Paine' which is truly an amazing sight of granite mountains. The area surrounding the hotel is completely natural with ancient forest and winding river. The area is known for windy weather which does blow very hard at times. The rooms... More

The setting was lovely and the location was quiet. However, the design of the hotel made it very noisy at times, especially at night. The various wings are separated by doors, which seems like a great idea, but they were constantly banging closed as guests came and went. The staff was exceptionally nice. Dinner is a large buffet and some... More

This hotel is situated conveniently close to the national park, with a magnificent view, but without the high prices of hotels inside the park. However, just keep looking out the huge windows facing one of the best views in the world, and don't look down at the carpets. This whole facility needs refreshing, remodeling and deep cleaning; our motto was:... More

You can sit in one of the large lounge areas by the fireplace sipping your beverage of choice while gazing at the mountains and if you have gone into internet withdrawl, you can do that as well. The rooms are nicely done and the breakfast buffet was good.

Compared to the other three luxury hotel at Torres del Paine National Park, this one has the most affordable prices. Yes, it may not be beside the mountains or not beside a water fall, but it has a great view of all the peaks. It´s amazing how this hotel can works, when the closets town is at 2 hour driving... Rio Serrano was a bit of a splurge as we were traveling as a family of four with two rooms for four nights, but we didn't want to drive in from Puerto Natalas every day. Our rooms were very comfortable and the spacious public areas were good for a beer and conversation after a day of hiking. Rio Serrano serves... More

A group of 6 of us traveling together stayed here for one night. The hotel reminds you of many large hotels around the world that are set up to handle bus loads of tourists. We stayed in rooms facing the Paine Massif which were large and clean. The view of the Massif in the morning with no clouds was magnificent.... More

Coming from Hotel Las Torres, HRS was significantly nicer and better. A very modern hotel although a bit pricey but not as expensive as others in the area. The rooms were new, comfortable and large. We had requested balcony rooms and they accommodated our requests (nice!). The views were quite spectacular throughout the hotel and rooms. The staff was extremely... More

First impressions was that we were being driven to a barn. The Isolated wooden building provides rooms with spectacular views to the mountains of Torres Del Paine if you are lucky enough to have clear weather conditions - we were lucky. Sunsets can also be a photographers dream as the sun sinks below the snow covered mountains. For all the... More
