We were on a three night bus tour with Trapics and this was our first nights Hotel. We all gathered in the foyer and were told all about the hotel and where the onsens [hot spring baths] were before being shown to our rooms. We straight away got into our yukata's and went to the hot spring bath. Male and... More

Stayed in this hotel with a tour. Hotel had free WiFi in lobby area. The hotel room was spacious compared to Tokyo’s standard. TV in room only had 6 local channels but there were no toiletries in the bathroom. Dinner buffet was fine as steak were juicy and tender. Breakfast was ok with half of the choices being Japanese style.... More

It is a Japanese resort... More

It is a huge hotel with Japanse people only. It was very crowded. It accomodated buses with children groups and a lot of families. The hotel gave us the impression of an old hospital building. It even smelled like it. The staff doesn't speak english which makes it hard to communicate with them It is in walking distance from the... More

This is not the sort of place we normally would chose to stay. It's a huge hotel complex, targetted at families, and very much a Japanese take on an all inclusive resort. However, we wanted somewhere not too expensive, within walking distance of Aso JR station, that we could book on the internet as we don't speak Japanese. While there's... More
