This is a delayed review but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Residence Sisouk. A charming building filled with beautiful old colonial style furnishings. Great views from our spacious corner room & a very comfortable four poster bed. Friendly staff & an adequate breakfast. Great coffee at the cafe next door.

This small, boutique hotel has a nice colonial vibe. The rooms are bright and spacious. Our room had a nice balcony, however the view was not anything exciting. It was a good location for proximity to markets, and as a stopover for a very early flight the next morning, it was very convenient for the airport. The reception also prepared... More

We stayed for one night at Residence Sisouk in Pakse Laos. At first I was concerned as the reception seemed small and pokey. The lift is tiny similar to lifts in Paris, which is not surprising as the owner has lived in France for many years. The room was beautiful with delightful furniture and lovely french doors opening onto the... More

There are some negative reviews below which are not entirely accurate. this is a decent small family run hotel, perhaps expensive for the area but also with some charm and quality for the area. It has a lot of the typical dark wood common in Lao so with the age there are some squeaks and idiosyncrasies as you walk about... More

We decided sleep in Pakse during our stay in the region and I would definitely recommend this hotel ! Great atmosphere with spacious and clean rooms. I highly recommend the breakfast on top of the hotel with a view on most of the city !

I booked there after reading the enthusiastic comments here which end up to be totally misleading as well as the hotel's rating. This is not more than 2* bed+breakf. and nothing more than that!! Not for quality travellers, it is rather suitable for backpackers who want to treat themselves. -Dirty towels, brown stains on all of them, i had to... More

Really nice hotel in Pakse.good retreat after dusty Bolaven Plateau. Nice rooms, decorated with charm...very good breakfast. we enjoyed our stay here and had a good night sleep. Unluckily the welcome was not the friendliest.

So far - Rock hard mattress A Luke warm shower No tea & Coffee facilities in the room No bathrobes (ok so a luxury item but . . . ) Ooo just found an 'Electronic power heater' under the sink, unfortunately there is... Just an average hotel to be honest. Rooms are okay (make sure you turn a hidden switch on for a hot shower), plenty of space for your lugage. A true downside is the elevator from 1700. Extremely slow and almost impossible to fit more than 3 persons. Okay for an overnight, Pakse isn't suitable for more days either.

We booked a deluxe room with four poster bed, the room was nice but the standard room would of been enough. Comparing the service to the price, we would say that the hotel is too expensive. The serving staff were nice though, breakfast ok, & great coffee in their cafe downstairs.
