Just an average hotel to be honest. Rooms are okay (make sure you turn a hidden switch on for a hot shower), plenty of space for your lugage. A true downside is the elevator from 1700. Extremely slow and almost impossible to fit more than 3 persons. Okay for an overnight, Pakse isn't suitable for more days either.

We booked a deluxe room with four poster bed, the room was nice but the standard room would of been enough. Comparing the service to the price, we would say that the hotel is too expensive. The serving staff were nice though, breakfast ok, & great coffee in their cafe downstairs.

Small hotel (19 rooms) with superb atmosphere. This is truly a boutique hotel (although they don’t claim this)! We had one of the suites which is very spacious and has a large balcony overlooking the river. Good Wi-Fi on the corridors and in the lounge on the top floor (not in the room), very good breakfast and excellent coffee (best... More

Pakse is a quite ugly city with nothing special to see. So having a nice hotel before and after our Mekong Cruise was quite helpful. Residence Sisouk is a boutique hotel with rooms furnitured in the old colonial style - we liked it! Friendly and supportive staff, breakfast is quite basic and made to order (so bring some time), complimentary... More

good things first: great location and friendly staff but: the rooms are quite noisy - both street noise and other guests (and especially the elevator with its annoying "pling"); the breakfast is boring (although the view is amazing), the cafe on the ground floor has better offers - but that costs of course extra since I prolonged my stay with... Overall, the stay at the Residence Sisouk was most pleasant. The room was very comfortable with both air con and a fan. The bathroom was a bit small as was the shower stall. The 'hot' water was lukewarm. The wi-fi was very slow during the day. Could only use it with any regularity during the early morning or late at... More

I warmed to this place, spending three days there, one before a Mekong cruise and two after. The owner has lovingly restored this building to turn it into a hotel with a colonial feel and an interesting history, too. She could not have been more helpful and kindly let us have dinner without having booked it. Breakfast was good in... More

A more expensive hotel for Laos standards, but rooms are nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, helped as find a nice driver who took us around for a day. The breakfast was pretty good, a basket of bread, eggs, fruit and yogurt. We stayed before and after our Treetop Explorer Tour, and the staff was nice enough... More

Probably the most expensive place we stayed at in Laos. Nice, clean, well appointed rooms. Shower was warm and fairly powerful. Helpful, friendly staff. Good location for visiting Pakse. Breakfast was very nice with a lovely view at the top of the hotel.

Save the cost of this pretty expensive hotel, take a motorbike and go to the Bolavean Plateau. Although this hotel is good, it is not reason enough to stay overnight in Pakse. The cafe downstairs is good, but pretty expensive for Laos level
