I warmed to this place, spending three days there, one before a Mekong cruise and two after. The owner has lovingly restored this building to turn it into a hotel with a colonial feel and an interesting history, too. She could not have been more helpful and kindly let us have dinner without having booked it. Breakfast was good in... More

A more expensive hotel for Laos standards, but rooms are nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, helped as find a nice driver who took us around for a day. The breakfast was pretty good, a basket of bread, eggs, fruit and yogurt. We stayed before and after our Treetop Explorer Tour, and the staff was nice enough... More

Probably the most expensive place we stayed at in Laos. Nice, clean, well appointed rooms. Shower was warm and fairly powerful. Helpful, friendly staff. Good location for visiting Pakse. Breakfast was very nice with a lovely view at the top of the hotel.

Save the cost of this pretty expensive hotel, take a motorbike and go to the Bolavean Plateau. Although this hotel is good, it is not reason enough to stay overnight in Pakse. The cafe downstairs is good, but pretty expensive for Laos level

Unfortunately, we stayed only one night at this delightful hotel which is housed in a restored colonial building. Though I suspect very little of the interior fittings are original, so high is the quality of the renovation, that you would have to be an advanced pedant to spot the modern additions. We had a wonderfully eccentric-shaped corner room with a... More

We spent two separate nights here on either end of a motorbike trip through southern Laos. The staff at the hotel were quite helpful, keeping our large backpacks during the duration of the trip and having them ready in our new room when we returned for the final stay. On our first stay, we were in a basic room, which... More

It is obvious the owners have tried very hard to create the best they could under the circumstances. We checked into this old building in a run down, semi deserted, filthy part of this town. It seems like an old French building with an ancient elevator, smaller than a broom closet, with two iron gates, that moves ever so slowly.... More

Sisouk Residence is a very nice boutique hotel, with a great (large) room - you feel good there. The staff and the owner take care about the guests, the food (breakfast) is good, Don't miss the adjacent patisserie - best coffee and croissant in Laos. Conclusion: highly recomended if you like good comfort and feel-good area.

Lovely old building well positioned in Pakse. Good sized rooms, very helpful staff and excellent coffee shop on site. Owner of hotel personally drove us to the airport as she was going to pick up a family member, wonderful service. Highly recommended. Try Nazims Indian restaurant, close by ( note new address, not in Thannon 24 anymore)

This is a nice hotel in a convenient location. Everything including massage, night market and restaurants / tour offices were within mi uses of walking. My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights out of the 5 in Pakse as we were participating in the treetop adventure (highly recommended) the first night was great, as the room was clean with... More
