I stayed at the hotel for business trip. It locate in the center of city and convenient to go to anywhere. There are many reasonable restaurants around the hotel.

I booked this hotel because of the great write up it got on lonley planet. Could have been a completely different hotel as was completely opposite to how they discribed it. My room was grubby and dirty with heavy dirt stains on the light switch, dirty skirting boards and very dirty and scuffed walls. Travelling for 2 months and it... More

Stayed for 2 nights in early February 2014. Paid $135,000 kip for a double room. This hotel appears quite posh from the entrance but once you move to the back building it's not so posh anymore. Overall, the hotel was fine but I wouldn't choose to stay there again. We were getting the night bus out of town and they... More

This was the first bigger hotel in downtown Pakse. Now, with much competition, also by the owner's own brother who owns Champasak Grand Hotel, not many people come to Sang Arun any longer. At the Grand Hotel you get a much better room, location and standard for the same price. Here at Aroun the rooms are tired, paint peels everywhere,... More

We booked this hotel in order to have a nice break for our anniversary, during travelling and just simply wanted to relax in a bit better standard hotel, that we naively thought Sang Aroun is. Well, it wasn't. It was under expectations. We stayed 2 nights and it was too much. First of all we booked the hotel before we... More

We stayed one night in Pakse and this was a great option. It was in a good location, the rooms were basic but spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There was a good range of TV channels but the WiFi was a bit dodgy and only really worked in the lobby.

We had to stay one night in Pakse as it was almost night when we arrived there. This hotel was a very good option after a long bus trip (a tire explosed...). Luxuorious room for us, large a comfy bed, a great bathroom and even a TV. This brand new hotel offers a great service.

The Saeng Aroun is a nice change from the run of the mill guesthouses in the area. It fits into the mid-level business category. The lobby and rooms are full of windows and are light and airy. A rare site is the elevator. A guest doesn't have to climb flights of stairs to get to one's room. A busboy is... More

We stayed at the Seng Aroun Hotel in Pakse and were very pleased with the value for the price. The exterior and lobby of the hotel make it seem like a far more expensive property. The rooms are basic, but extremely clean and have many amenities. Very little English is spoken even at reception, but enough to communicate just fine.... More

Seng Aroun is a clean hotel with enough staff to provide friendly service. The rooms are a bit soulless. There is free wi-fi in the lobby where you will notice that this hotel mainly attracts Asian travellers. Another stay in a building behind the main building was less enjoyable. Those rooms are entire square and white, very small (however well... More
