I came from Viet Nam and after a night in Attapeu, I boarded a bus to Pakse, a nice route with good views on the Bolavean Plateau, and nice scenery on both sides. The road was empty.... After arriving in Pakse it was Mr. Mi the taxi-driver who was extremely helpfull to visit all banks in Pakse, to find a... More

The hotel is centrally located near all the restaurants in town. Unfortunaly, after the first night we had to change the room. The first room was very close to the street and some dogs woke us up in the middle of the night. Also, there were mosquitoes inside and the room wasn't very clean. The second room was better -... We spent a few days here before leaving for cambodia. Originaly we came from 4000 islands to se a doctor in Pakse since i wasn't feeling well. We wanted to rest in a nice place this time as we usually didn't spend over 100000 on Accomodation in laos. Accomodation was ok but there werent much help in the blinds preventing... More

Offers good value for money. Built as a courtyard around an old colonial building. Located near restaurants and all the facilities Pakse has to offer. Good aircon and the wifi works well, albeit a bit sporadically. Some problems with mosquito in the room despite screens on the windows. Helpful staff.

We stayed for 2 nights at the end of January 2014 and paid 150,000 kip/night for a double bed (room close to the road). The room is fairly typical for accommodation in Laos. It was a good size (as was the ensuite bathroom) but it was the worst bed I slept on in the country. Being right by the entrance... More

We got a twin room for 150,000 kip because it was all they had left. the beds were so bad, pillow felt like a bag of old rags, springs stick up into your back and the blankets were the weirdest, tackiest, dog printed, polyester pieces of junk. The room was actually full of mosquitos which I tried to kill but... More

Always ready to experience historical places with character this one misses on too many levels.no decent reading light, no mattress...only a box spring ..very bizarre and a dead restaurant that springs into life unexpectedly as a karaoke bar at night. Cold water showers when there was water put the icing on the cake for a room which had remains of... More

We were walking around the area when we chanced upon this hotel. For 150,000LAK, we got a huge room with huge bathroom. Not bad for one night stay. There's a nearby eatery in the corner, a money changer, atm and salon if you wish to have your nails cleaned for women.

Sala Champa hotel is a nice place to spend a few nights in Pakse. We had one of the rooms around the garden. It was clean and spacious. There's a quite nice sitting area, and the hotel is located really centrally. However, the staff could be a bit more attentive. E.g. it was not possible to get a cup of coffee... More

Our room was in the main building on the ground floor. It looked like it hadnt been touched up in 20 years. Most things were old and well worn. This included the mattress and the rock hard pillow. The busy street was only meters away from the front window so you could hear every traffic sound. Very happy to move... More
