Frankly speaking, this guesthouse is quite old and maintenance is not good but the building is a French colonial type and large enough. We spent 3 nights over there because we feel the room much comfortable and it seems spending time at home in Pakse. Nothing should not be expected, but we enjoyed a lot of good feeling just like... The room was actually quite big and it was clean. Beds are hard, but this is common in all of Laos, so not really an issue. The problem is the manager. At first he is all smiles and very polite, while he tries to sell you tours and bus tickets and everything he can. We understand that. This is a... More

For me it's cheap, but not the cheapest, we ended up there by chance and we were happy to find it, it's a small hotel with only one ground floor, each room has direct access outside. Nice green outside with vegetation, there is a common terrace. The wifi signal is not very strong, therefore not is the rooms but only... More

My first negative review... but they deserve it. Frankly, for 16 dollars a night, one could expect much more. First off: They just seem worried to get your money. As soon as I arrived, the guy told me "pay now, pay now. My boss. Pay now." (I paid later, because I had no cash) I booked a bus to Tahkaek... More

I came from Viet Nam and after a night in Attapeu, I boarded a bus to Pakse, a nice route with good views on the Bolavean Plateau, and nice scenery on both sides. The road was empty.... After arriving in Pakse it was Mr. Mi the taxi-driver who was extremely helpfull to visit all banks in Pakse, to find a... More

The hotel is centrally located near all the restaurants in town. Unfortunaly, after the first night we had to change the room. The first room was very close to the street and some dogs woke us up in the middle of the night. Also, there were mosquitoes inside and the room wasn't very clean. The second room was better -... We spent a few days here before leaving for cambodia. Originaly we came from 4000 islands to se a doctor in Pakse since i wasn't feeling well. We wanted to rest in a nice place this time as we usually didn't spend over 100000 on Accomodation in laos. Accomodation was ok but there werent much help in the blinds preventing... More

Offers good value for money. Built as a courtyard around an old colonial building. Located near restaurants and all the facilities Pakse has to offer. Good aircon and the wifi works well, albeit a bit sporadically. Some problems with mosquito in the room despite screens on the windows. Helpful staff.

We stayed for 2 nights at the end of January 2014 and paid 150,000 kip/night for a double bed (room close to the road). The room is fairly typical for accommodation in Laos. It was a good size (as was the ensuite bathroom) but it was the worst bed I slept on in the country. Being right by the entrance... More

We got a twin room for 150,000 kip because it was all they had left. the beds were so bad, pillow felt like a bag of old rags, springs stick up into your back and the blankets were the weirdest, tackiest, dog printed, polyester pieces of junk. The room was actually full of mosquitos which I tried to kill but... More
