Indeed a grand hotel. The place is not new but still magnificient, clean, and the staff is very nice. Breakfast is quite standard, rooms are spacious. A very good choice indeed if you can afford it. They also have transportation to the airport if you need it.

Despite its first appearance the Champasak Grand is only a pretty big hotel with very limited service. Though the rooms are nice, you might find it difficult to get some sleep. Because those not facing the front and a main street (traffic drops down to nothin after 9/9:30 pm) are facing the very loud sight of the hotels cooling units... More

I have stayed in this hotel for two nights. It is a traditional hotel in Asia and all the facilities reminded me about the world twenty years ago. I am not saying the facilities are old, but the style and atmosphere. The majority customers in this hotel are locals, and there are very few foreigners from the rest of the... More

This is certainly an upmarket accommodation - lots of staff all around, but not always'available'. The food is good. The rooms are great, the view is spectacular!! Do yozurself a favour - and walk over the bridge - at least halfwayl!! It truly gives you a sense of the "Mighty Mekong"!!

The hotel looks very nice, at a first glance you might think you're at a 5 star hotel. But this is an average hotel in the 40 US Dollar price class so this makes it an average hotel as I paid 50 or 60 US per night I was in my room during the night and every 10 minutes the... More

We got the chance to book one of the top suites for a very fair price (70USD). We got a nice spacious room on the rooftop. Each of the rooms on the top floor was like a mini apartment with TV, bath, shower, safe,... Staff is friendly but it seems that the place doesn't get a lot of business since... More

Spent two nights here as a base for touring Southern Laos. This is the only reason you would stay in Pakse as there is not much in the city itself Room was average. The bed was comfortable and clean but the floorboards in the room creaked badly and start to annoy you after a while. The view of the river... More

Great location overlooking the Mekong river. We had a premier room for 5 nights at a cost of $120 a night which was fine except room cleaning was poor eg tea bags were not replenished, fresh fruit on day one and that was that. the only sign of room cleaning was the bed had been made. Buffet breakfast was totally... More

The hotel was an aging building but that did not take away the magnificent feature of the building sitting grandlly over looking Pakse town ,also overlooking the Mekong river. The hotel is only 45 minutes away from the laos ,Thai border which is very handy The service was average, the room average for the price , the swimming pool, two... More
