The Aregarden is situated right in the centre of the village, approx 200m from the ski lifts. Rooms are spacious and well comfortably furnished and well equipped with drying cabinets and kettles. Although we only had breakfast there the food was good and plentiful. The spa in the basement was a real bonus with a goos sized pool and sauna.... More

Ideal location right in the centre of Are, the hotels main areas are well maintained and attractive but the rooms are a bit tired and do need updating. We went for a short ski break between Christmas and New Year and were pleased that we had picked this hotel over the other 2 potential choices of the Toft and Copperhills... More

We spent a night here in august. The first room was in an old part of the hotel, and didnt meet the standard the website promised. We asked for a new room, and the deskclerk was very helpful. The swimmingpool is down in the spadepartment, and it wasnt very adjusted to guests using this. There were no bathrobes, extra towels... More

We stayed at the hotel for a night in August 2013. Upon arrival, the woman behind the desk was very service minded. We came with a car and were given free parking outside of the hotel. The location of the hotel is really, really god, especially if you're in Åre during the summer where skiing obviously isn't the priority. It's... More

Charming hotel with very good hotel facilities but only OK rooms. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were surprisingly good. Very nice lobby area with tables and bar and cheerful and big living room. In the basement quite a big and decent discotheque. Also in the basement a spa and ski storage room. The rooms were average, with typical no frills scandinavian... More

Best location in Åre! Nice bar/lounge to hang around for post skiing drinks. The room (double with extra fold down bed) had a large and comfortable bed. Room is quite cramped, especially with the fold down bed in use. Some wear and tear. No individual temperature control in the room - we found it way to hot and had to... More

Good rooms and nicely clean. The rooms are, at least 401, a bit dated and somewhat not suffcielty insulated against noice from the noice outside. The room is however perfect if you travel with kids. Breakfast is good, not fantastic. Location is the best in Åre, steps from the old lift and in the hart of the restaurants.

We stayed at the Diplomat Hotel in Are during the summer, and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The hotel looked completely charming and welcoming as we were walking up to it, fulfilling every fantasy of a cute and cozy cottage in the mountains. We found the same warm and welcoming ambiance in every aspect of the... More

We stayed there for one night with our dog. The rooms allowed for animals are by all understanding not the most fashionable ones. We were however very pleased with warm welcome and the cozy furnished room with lovely beds. I was particularly happy about the big bathtub as the outdoor temperature was below -25. The common areas offers an open... More
