Stay 1 night for business. Superb location and superb food near by (wantan noodle, cendol, claypot chickeb rice, fried yam ball, great kopi/nan yang coffee). Hotel counter staff (Chinese uncle) was friendly and familiar enough to provide direction to good food spot. Room was clean and big. Only 1 thing not good is that this is an old hotel so... More

We stayed for 1 night in Sep 2014 (Executive Deluxe room on eighth floor).. Our room’s facing main road and we could see old shophouses, buildings.. Opposite the hotel, there’re rows of stalls, restaurants, shops.. We walked quite a distance from the hotel towards the Batu Pahat riverside to have our dinner as there’s a chinese seafood restaurant which served... More

Stay for 2 nights. A very nice hotel. Visited Batu Pahat for the first time and saw this hotel online. The lobby was nice, the room was clean and tidy. And the staffs were quite friendly.Although the breakfast was simple, but with the price around RM100, what can you expect more from that.

We have no major complaints regarding the hotel..I love the location..there is a good 24hr Zam Zam restaurant near the bus station which is behind the hotel n an Indian Banana leaf joint in front so no problem about food..Malay stalls r also in front.Traffic jam free n ample parkings.Good service n meagre breakfast(dont expect much but good coffee)Keen in... Back to Batu Pahat to visit relatives, decided to try Garden Hotel. A bit worry at first as the previous reviews are not that good, but recommended by relatives. Surprisingly the room is amazing, is newly renovated, and the entire ambience in the room is just perfect. Have a comfortable stay and I would definitely come back again

At first the hotel look class from outside, but when we entered the room,it wasn't that nice. Really is an old hotel. Unfriendly staff. No complimentary drinking water, coffee or tea. Big room but with really old furniture, mouldy partitions and cracks tiles. Old toilet and the floor tiles look very dirty. I have to wear my slipper even during... More

Am back to Batu Pahat after many months and check in to Garden after many last hotel I stayed fully booked. The room is a little old fashion, still using box TV (suggest the management to upgrade) but is still comfortable and quite, really relaxing. My surprise is the happening at night downstairs of the hotel. A cafe & bistro... More

For those FITs who wish to spend a day (overnight) in Batu Pabhat (BP in short) either in transit or exploring/rediscovering this old town, finding a hotel near the express bus station located at Jalan Rahmat. There are two visible ones as one step out of the coach. The Garden and S&B. The latter is slightly more expensive as it... More
