Positives: The room is spacious even with an extra bed installed. Bathroom is spacious and clean except the water level stain in the toilet. Quite despite the hotel location near the main trunk intercity road. Minuses: I am not impressed with the breakfast options. Foods are below average (tastewise as I can cook better nasi lemak, nasi goreng and mee... More

The Pelican is an unassuming 3-star hotel tucked into a small corner of BP town. It is not difficult to locate though. Being a 3-star hotel do not expect too much out of it. There is only skeleton staff manning the hotel and there is only one cafe dirrectly facing the check-in counter, for buffet breakfast and other meals. The... More

The hotel is quite nice, good value for money , with private own parking area. The room cleanliness is acceptable, decent breakfast but the only problem was that the receptionist was very unfriendly during check in, maybe you need to pay her extra to smile but what upset me most was she should know how to wear proper dress. what... The hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable. Room is reasonably big. If you are driving, there are ample parking space behind the hotel. However, the breakfast is bad. Receptionists' attitude are not good.

We stayed here for a night around mid December 2014 due to a food adventure. We chose it as it was visible from the main road and looked kind of new. Our faith was rewarded with the room that we had. Comfortable room, especially the beds ( 2 single beds ). The staff was nice. The breakfast was simple yet... More

Stayed for 1 night on the 6th floor. Checked in very late and paid 150RM for a twin room including breakfast. Clean and comfortable with a nice shower. Friendly staff and we did not notice any evidence of prostitutes. I will stay here again next time I'm in Batu Pahat.

This is not a world-class hotel, so you cannot expect world-class facilities here, Despite that, I would say the hotel is quite reasonable and comfortable. Aren't those what people to tend to look for in a hotel? As such, I was quite surprised when there are those who complained about the hotel, especially of it being old. Well, being old... More

This hotel is one of the worst in town, the building is quite old, the room is also quite rundown which makes me feel very uncomfortable. Besides that, during my stay in pelican, I found that this hotel is full of prostitutes and this turned me down. Quite a number of uncles who brought the china prostitutes to the hotel... More

I was having my church camp in this hotel. The price is reasonable with a group of 100 plus odd campers. The breakfast can consider nice. Some of the rooms are under renovation at this moment, except the first 4 levels. Hence, some of the rooms are still not to standard yest but still bearable. Staff are friendly and helpful.... More
