Not a luxury place to stay but it's enough to wash away the tiredness. Would definitely recommend as it's in the city center and by the sea. The hotel is very minimal. Stayed here for an event which is not a bad place at all. Near to the food places, just a walking distance.

Got a night stay from agoda for RM116 incl. breakfast. Room 8005 has a good view of the river in part and the town centre. Very basic amenities - kettle with instant coffee mix; limited channel TV; no mini fridge, no hair dryer, no toothbrush; shared ironing board outside room; not very clean room/toilet; free but limited parking. The hotel... More

Supposed to be one of the better hotels. Spend a night there. Considering the price paid, it was disappointing. The good - Had good view of the river. Parking with security available. Convenient to get to most places in town on foot. The bad - Air-con leaked and the carpet was damp through the night and next day. Furniture and... More

Condition is really terrible. It might be good 20 years ago but room has not changed since. Bad smell, paper thin walls, horrible worn down toilet, broken shower, yellow stained toilet, yellow stained towels, filthy balcony (bird droppings, ants, cigarette butts etc) musty odour throughout. I even had to shower with flip-flops on. WORSE of all, It's not cheap! Only... More

1. Service - Average, nothing to comment. 2. Room - Stayed in a king bed room, bed quite comfortable. 3. Hotel - renovation is alright, but lack of air conditioning in the elevator and hallway. 4. Location - ok, on the main road, near to the seaside. However, noisy from the traffic is frustrated, sleeping quality affected.

It s very strategically located smack right in the town centre. The room smelt of cigarette smoke but they did their best to ward off the smell by using sir fresheners. The view of Muar was excellent from the room. And I booked thro Agoda and found it to be RM 10 more than if u book thro the hotel.... More

This is a perfect place for business traveller and also for leisure. The location is superb. Easy axcessibility and tranquil surroundings. Ask for the riverview room. Eating places are just around the corner. Breakfast at the hotel is also nice and reasonable selection. U can even eat outside to enjoy the river view. The staff are very helpful and friendly.... Remember, the lobby is not on the ground floor. The room is spacious, it can be a river-view, town-view or both view. The panorama view is simply awesome. You can view Muar Town from the window ( the unit that I stayed )
