Simple and clean, with free wifi. Off road parking. My only negative comment is the pillows are horrible very thick foam, so I couldn't use mine. Liquid soap provided for the shower. TV and aircon. Hot shower.

Checked-in to the deluxe room, with no expectation. Surprisingly, I was impressed with the room's tidiness and the toilet's cleanliness. The television and its remote control in my room were not working, but I don't think it was a big deal for me. Briefly speaking, I would say it is a comfy one-stop body recharging centre and would be happy... More

My stay at the Potato Hotel at Taiping was ok. It was a affordable budget hotel. I wasn't looking for anything fancy. Got a 3 person room for a night at the ground floor, thank God we didn't have to climb the stairs! (There were no elevators provided.) Overall, the place was clean, and I would say it's stay-able. Though... More

Went there with my family last week.. Spacy room with clean facilities.. Lobby is simple but convenient to take drinking water and got small fridges selling drinks for your option.Worth paying. Would stay there again if went to Taiping.

It was a terrible experience I have never had! When I thought there was a hair on the pillow and trying to pull it away but a big cockroach suddenly ran out! What the hell?!! It was a cockroach! I complained to the Indian guy of front desk and requested to change room but was declined. He was trying to... More

We stayed there for a night in a family room, costs us RM128. Pros: - Both the room and bathroom is surprisingly spacious and clean - Comfortable beds and pillows - Shower and toilet works wonderfully - If you're driving, there are spaces to park just right across the street Cons: - No elevators, if you're climbing the steep stairs... Not a bad hotel, is was clean, modern and with large rooms, good air conditioning. Staff helpful and friendly, they quickly repaired the lock on a window that was missing. A few eating places nearby. The only problem is that this hotel is a long way from the town of Taiping, it's ok if you have your own transport. If... More

The hotel is easily accessible. After the Changkat Jering tol, its takes only about 5-10 minutes drive to the hotel. Not much fuss on checking in. The room is quite spacious and the aircon is good for a boutique hotel. Anyway some tips though, they provide a jug and glasses, but you have to go down to the bar counter... More

I choose this hotel as I need to go Lumut on second day. Easy to find this hotel after exist from the Kamunting tol. Plenty of the car park available in front of the hotel. Fast check-in and our room are allocated at 3rd floor (301 & 302). Big room and cool air cond. The room are simple and not... More
