A great location far from the city life with a grand view of Toya lake on one side and the ocean on the other side. It is an hour drive from Niseko which for me the best Ski resort in this part of the world. The hotel has around 400 rooms and it is sparkling clean. The decoration is very... More

Yes, this property is in a very remote area, but it is really spectacular. I only stayed one night, but because I arrived in the late afternoon I was able to enjoy some of its facilities: unfortunately the teppanyaki restaurant was fully booked, so I opted for the soba restaurant, which was very nice (food, service and decor); then I... I reached here at around 8 pm and got out from the hotel the next day at around 9 am. Most of the facilities are already closed by the time I have time to explore (mall, cake shop, chapel). too bad since I really wanted to see the chapel. The bad weather also making us not able to enjoy the... More

It is not easy to rate this hotel.. I could understand all pros and cons mentioned in the prior reviews immediately after spending the first night here... Anyway, I was very curious about this hotel and now I got an answer that one time experience with this hotel was more than enough... Probably, having a nice lunch (or dinner) in... More

excellent location, excellent view, excellent rom and amenities. the hotel is spacious even in US standard. the hot spring is a bit far from guest room and need quite a walk from room. there is a golf course right in front of the hotel, too bad this is not a golf trip. our room has a breath taking lake view,... Chosen for a winter holiday we booked junior suites not realizing that the already steep prices were Per Person. Almost deserted the cavernous hotel reminded one of "The Shining" absent the very attentive but very strict staff. Rules are everywhere: onsen inexplicably closed for 5 hours during the hours of 10 to 3. Pool closed until 2! Restaurants glittering with... More

We were not very happy upon check in when they told us that the rate on the internet was listed wrongly and they have to charge us a higher rate w/o breakfast. I think they should honor the rate since it was not our fault but they refused. Being out of no where and our charter bus has left we... More

The view is simply majestic and overwhelming. Situated on top of a hill, it is the only hotel build at the top, giving one complete privacy and solitude. A perfect getaway from the bustle of city life. The restaurants are expensive but quality is impeccable. The room is spacious. The onsen is also big and spacious, although it is public... More

Yes, the view from this hotel is breathtaking. Located on top of a hill, one side facing the Ocean, the other side facing a beautiful vulcanic lake with a picturesque island in the middle of it, makes looking out of the window a real joy. And yes, staff is friendly and always looking after you, and yes, the rooms are... More

From arriving to leaving the hotel, I never felt disappointed. The room was brilliant and well-equipped. Seeing view of Toya lake was the highlight. So stunning. All staffs was very professional and attentive. Food was very delicious. I did a spa every day, very relaxed. Staying at this hotel was a real heaven. It fullfilled my energy.
