Big room but small toilet. Lake view was great with fireworks at night. Food is average for big groups of Korean & Chinese tourists. Onsen is average, not your traditional boutique style. So don't expect too much.

All the rooms are Lake Toya view, and the onsen also has nice lake view. The breakfast and dinner place is at the same restaurant, buffet style. try to avoid the peak time as there may be many tour groups there and will be crowded.

My wife and I stayed here for one night as part of our tour round Hokkaido South. In hindsight, I would choose this hotel for its spectacular view of the lake and Mt Yotei and evening fireworks from the room and its location right on the lakeside promenade. The room was spacious and quite clean but decorations need a revamp... More

We booked 2 rooms at Toyako Manseikaku Hotel Lake Side Terrace and stayed there for 2 nights. We booked non-smoking rooms but that in a smoking hallway didn’t really make the difference. The room was good, clean, spacious, 2 beds and tatami living room, toilet and bath. Dinner in the room however was a bit disappointing. It was very nicely... More

we took up the half board plan for this room. The room was spacious and had a good view of the lake from the room. everything was find about the hotel other than the food itself. It seems that the hotel targets the Mainland Chinese market that the buffet looks more like a chinese buffet with some japanese items rather... More

rooms were very old and rundown - everything looked kinda mouldy. We didn't manage to get a room with lake view, so couldn't watch the fireworks from room very easy access from the hotel to the promenade overlooking the lake, and it's also near the pier where the fireworks sightseeing boat is docked the included buffet breakfast and dinner (at... Spend a night the hotel with the family in the Japanese style room. As a whole , the room are huge and is very comfortable for the younger ones. However, older generation might complains that sleeping on the floor is hard for them to get up of bed. My room comes with good view of the lake and is very... More

We stayed at T.Manseikaku previously in May 2010. It was rather comfortable and efficient then... so we thought it would be a good idea to introduce our friends to this magnificent hotel located on Lake Toya. We reserved 2 double rooms for May 2013. Overall, hotel gave the impression of efficiency. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed by the lack of... More

We arrived early at the hotel and could not check in so we left and went around fruit picking in nearby Sobetsu. The hotel is right by Lake Toya and we booked a Lakeview room. It was a western and japanese room meaning we had a double bed and japanese tatami living setting. Despite some reviewers who mentioned about the... More

We had stayed at Manseikaku Toyako for 2N from 6 - 8 July 2012. It was my second time staying at this hotel, the first time being March 2011 (winter). Lake Toya looks so different in summer, as compared to winter. There are beautiful lavender and other colorful flowers along the lake, a stunning sculpture park to stroll, benches we... More
