stayed in japanese room for a night. tatami was comfortable.the room is facing the lake , it was raining on the day we arrive, but we still able to watch the fireworks from our room! had great onsen here as well, both indoor and outdoor overlook the lake, however it would be better to go before sunset as it was... The hotel's location is about the same as any other hotels in Lake Toya, they're all practically right next to each other along the lake. It does, however, have a 7-11 out front, which is always a plus for me. The room is average. With all amenities you would expect. The highlight of this place is the onsen and the... More

It's all about the location and the buffet. Hotel is just next to the lake. Conveniently located to watch the fireworks as well. Buffet breakfast and dinner was very nice. Both Japanese and western food is available. Hotsprings are also quite nice. The condition of the rooms could be better. Felt a bit run down, spacious though.

Rooms were spacious enough and had a great view of the lake. There are few onsen (hot public baths) on site and the one on the 8th floor with the lake view was fantastic. Dinner and breakfast buffets were both great. Staff were professional and went out of the way to explain everything clearly when checking in. Only negative was... More

Stayed in this hotel for 1N in December during my business trip and was assigned a Japanese-Western room supposedly big enough for 4 people. There were two single western beds in the room and a couple of futons in the closet beside the beds, if you want to sleep on them, you can either drag them out and arrange it... More

This hotel boast a 24hrs onsen and the breakfast and dinner buffets are decent. Rooms are tatami style and are considered spacious. The room heaters are working well but the clean toilet is rather aged but the green bath towels need to be replaced. 24hrs convenient store is just across the road and travellers can withdraw ¥ from the ATM... Stayed in the hotel twice. The first time we had a really spacious room but the second stay we had a small room that is a bit squeezy for 3 adults and 3 big luggage. All the rooms face the lake so you can see the summer fireworks that is on every night at the lake with awesome view. The... More

For a 3 star hotel, it offers you a beautiful view of the lake first thing when you open your eyes in the morning. We chanced upon a fireworks display at night on lake toya during our stay there as well. Onsen is good too! Food was not too bad and service was good though their spoken English was rather... More

This place has definitely lost it's splendor. It's clearly one of those hotels built during the roaring 80's of Japan when it seemed any business was going to be a money maker. Reality is quite the opposite of fantasyland. The hotel is now reduced to a cheap servicing for large tour groups that are from Korea or mainland China. Maintenance... More

Big room but small toilet. Lake view was great with fireworks at night. Food is average for big groups of Korean & Chinese tourists. Onsen is average, not your traditional boutique style. So don't expect too much.
