Just stayed there for 1 night, the lake view is nice although we were only checked in for a 1/F room. The complimentary buffet is just OK, food not as good as expected and the restaurant is a very casual. We can comfortably watch the firework show just outside the terrace after dinner. The room is a bit shabby but... More

This is a big hotel with 3 blocks connected together. We took 3 rooms on the block nearest to the lake on 1st level with windows facing Lake Toya. Package came with dinner and breakfast. Food was good with a huge spread of choices for everyone. Rooms were a little bit dated but acceptable. Onsens in 2 locations, at basement... More

Being seasoned travelers and frequent visitors to Japan, we can say that this is one of the worst hotels in Hokkaido. Our party of five booked twin and triple rooms for two nights at very high prices and as our group had a matured couple who had weak knees, we opted for western rooms. Seems like they practise a sort... More

Hotel is old, average maintenance. Beds were dusty. Not sure if it was the down feather from the quilt. Toilets were clean but had a weird stale smell in the WC. Hotel is terribly overcrowded with coaches of Chinese tourists and students. Dinner was messy and overcrowded. Cafe served very little variety of desserts. But the lady at the cafe... More

This is one of the many large hotels in this lake side town. They all look quite similar, and give a sense of holidays in the seventies to me. They are a bit old fashioned, and indeed with a need of a renovation. It seems that they mainly cater to a crowd of tourists from nearby Asian countries, taken there... More

We were part of a tour group hence rooms given were not tatami rooms due to full occupancy. Rooms were dated but clean enough. Rooms offers excellent view of Lake Toya. Breakfast hall is large and crowded but food served is good. Good selection of Japanese food.

Popular with big tour groups, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is an odd configuration with the basin in the main room and the shower and toilet squeezed into a tiny space. There are great and plentiful choices during dinner and breakfast buffets, but there will be big groups. There was even a group of school kids one... More

The hotel is near Lake Toya and I could view Lake Toya from my room. The hotel is big and clean as the other hotels in Hokkaido, Japan. As Toya is also famous for hot spring, I enjoyed Onsen. My personal feeling is Noboribetsu has the highest quality of hot spring water, even though hot spring in Toya is good... More

One of many hotels lining Lake Toya. Good location with souvenir shop across the road and convenience store just beside. Dinner and breakfast has good variety but can be crowded. View of nightly fireworks from room.

As testified by many travellers, the hotel provided spacious room with a great view of Lake Toya. At 8.45 pm, fireworks display from Lake Toya could be seen from the comfort of the rooms in the wing that face the lake. The hotel has two onsens, one in the basement and another at the 8th floor. The latter has an... More
