We couldn't have asked for more. This hotel is located on the shore of Lake Toya and our Japanese/Western room overlooked the lake. The room had 3 large windows and we had a wonderful view. The room was large with traditional low table and high coffee type table and own bathroom. As part of our package we had dinner served... More

We booked our room via booking.com . The hotel is actually pretty old but the room is fine. We booked 1 night room only. We manage to arrange the hotel to pick us and send us to Toya JR station. In terms of services, the staffs are fine and friendly. But lack of English speaking staff. Luckily for us, there... More

This is an average, and a bit old, hotel but is located very centrally in the Lake Toya district. What it lacks in terms of freshness and modernity, it makes up for in terms of the views! Make sure you try to get a room facing the lake. The other aspects of the hotel have been well covered by other... More

We are very happy staying here. Though the staff are not fluent in English but it's not a big problem as they try very hard to communicate with us. So impressed. We got the lake side view with traditional Japanese style bedroom. It is such a great experience. You can book for a private onsen, in case you don't want... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night. Position is good, close to bus station. However, facilities are really poor: rooms are very old. I booked a non-smoking room, but smoking smell is all around this hotel. Tried to enjoy hot spring, but not as good as the photos shown on booking and other website. I would say it's just basic... Stayed on the 6th floor. View of the lake is b e a u t i f u l! Staffs were very helpful. Breakfast was the same food everyday. Spread of western and Japanese breakfast. Would be better if they offered more western. Dinner was so-so. Nothing fantastic. Just for the experience. Very good place to r n r. Fresh... More

We stayed in Toya Kanko Hotel in mid December,it was snowing and the whole town was snow capped. As it was not the peak season,I practically had the public bath to myself. The jap style room is very nice and comfortable, all rooms come with lake view and it was nice sipping hot tea by the window enjoying the scenery. The free shuttle from... All rooms face the beautiful Lake Toya. Not too expensive for a traditional Japanese style room with breakfast & dinner. Room is very clean. The nightly firework is beautiful. Breakfast is ok. The in-room dinner is excellent, very generous with the portion & tasty. The onsen is good, especially the private Japanese style onsen, both indoor & outdoor.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 night in late August, 2013. The hotel is in the middle of Toyako Onzen which is far from Toya Trian Station. You should ask the hotel in advance for a free of charge shuttle bus from Toya station. The room is in Japanese style which you can experience the small table, futon, and... More

We made our reservation through Rakuten because for some reason, the hotel's website has the higher price for the same type of room plan. Though we reserved a room on Floor 2-4, we got assigned a room on higher floor where we could see the daily firework at night clearly. They did not charge extra for this upgrade. The only... More
