Lovely, large and comfy room. Arrived very late at night because we had travelled from Colombo so we were very lucky the 2 men who worked there let us in as they were just off to bed! The amin man at reception was very helpful and we bought a torch from him for 150 rupees for the climb up Adam's... More

Slightly Chilled is exactly what you need for your one night stay in Adams Peak. The room is standard, but when you are waking up at 2am to climb Adams Peak then it doesn’t really matter. At 2am the power didn’t work, however that didn’t bother us because it was so early anyway. They staff were really friendly and helpful... More

We stayed here for one night to use this as a base to climb Adam's Peak. It's well situated for the climb. We felt that it was a guest house that was a bit tired. Our room was a good size but a little grubby and there was no hot water. We went to bed early because of the early... More

Our driver recommended this hotel. We thought its over our budget but they offered room for 2500 rupies without breakfast (500 for person) so we agreed after confirming there is hot water and WiFi. Very professional and helpfull staff. Good breakfast. Dinner slightly more expensive like other places we were eating. WiFi only works upstairs and our room was at... More

Arrived after dark to warm welcome, no buffet so chose currys all round which were excellant. Beer served in a teapot as "special tea", bit surreal but who cares! Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with everything working. The guys sorted a guide for my son and I for the climb and we were able to walk up from the... More

We had an excellent one night stay. The room was big and comfortable with great views of Adams Peak. The staff were extremely helpful in organising us a guide for Adams peak and for a taxi. The dinner was excellent, but the breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Lashings of good toast, pancakes, omelettes and a huge... More

On arrival we got a free pot of tea in the restaurant with a fantastic view of Adam's Peak. The staff took our bags down to our room which we appreciated as it was 4 flights of stairs down. Rooms are basic but nice and clean. Bed is comfy and shower was hot. Wifi is quick but in the restaurant... More

Great view from the dining room. Food was excellent, good buffet for dinner. Breakfast was just what was needed after the hike. Easy to hire a guide to hike Adams peak. Taxi service to and from hostel was on time and very safe. Waited when our train was late.

Spent 2 nights here to climb up Adams peak early on the 2nd day which was great see a fantastic sunrise. The hotel itself is in a town which appeared deserted as it is off season for climbing Adams Peak. We were quite glad of the buffet as nowhere else appeared to be open, the food was also delicious home... More

Tasty buffet, nice and spacious room, albeit very poor wifi (only had good signal whilst in reception and dining area). Good base for Adam's Peak. Owner was very friendly and gave us a lift in his car to catch up with the bus that we had just missed!
