Staying at slightly chilled is great for those wishing to make their way up Adams peak. It's very close to the base, and is located in a picturesque spot with gorgeous views of Adams peak from breakfast. The service is impeccable, they were truly helpful to my family who stayed here in a few years back, helping us get ready... More

This Hotel is not 5 star accommodation but has lovely big rooms that allow you to experience the wonderful wildlife around you. It has lovely boutique rooms that capture the magic of the area, The owners are lovely people who make a wonderful breakfast and dinner. They assisted us in climbing Adam's Peak and always had a pot of tea... More

We spent 2 night here, for the purpose of walking Adams Peak and resting afterwards. The accommodation and comfortable and clean and provided everything you could need during your stay. The views of Adams Peak and surrounding hills were perfect for sitting back with a beer and relaxing after a long day, Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would... More

The staff here were just so incredibly friendly and helpful, it was a real standout! The guesthouse is a perfect base for hiking Adam's Peak, which is what we used it for, for 1 nights stay. Our room was fine - spacious with a door opening out onto a little balcony. We did have some issues with the hot water... More

This guest house does exactly what it needs to. It's not luxurious, but it is very friendly and welcoming with clean, good-sized rooms, hot showers and decent food. Most people come just for one night to climb Adam's Peak. This is what we did and it's perfect for that. You can walk straight from the hotel and you will meet... More

Good location for the climb, very friendly staff, perfect post climb breakfast. Room had no mosquito net, despite many mosquitoes. No fan or a/c and the shower was barely warm and had no pressure at all.

Our room was in the basement (-4. floor, no elevator), the bed-linen was used (hairy and dirty), bathroom was full with mould, the whole room was terrible smelly (we could not open the balcony door for some fresh air). The carpet was also very-very dirty, just disgutsting. Dinner was OK, but breakfest was only available until 8:30, when we just... More

Had an overnight stay here before climbing Sri Pada. The staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful, and although dinner was buffet it was delicious and plenty available to fill up before the climb. Breakfast was also good - although I'd avoid the coffee it was undrinkable (possibly however just something wrong with the water that day). We had... More

We spent two nights at Slightly Chilled using it as our base for the Sri Pada climb. The quality of the rooms and the food were both very good. The view from the main sitting/dining area is also quite picturesque. We were particularly impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff were, who did everything they could to make our... More

After talking with other visitors in the area during our stay, of the hostels in the Adam's peak area, this seems to be near the top. The rooms have multiple beds per room and gorgeous views. The water situation is a little questionable as it's pretty difficult to get consistent hot water. At night, perhaps when the water tank was... More
