Stayed here just for 1 night en-route to Adam's Peak. If you are able to find your route to Dalhousie, then Wathsala Inn is not difficult to find - on the left just as you enter Dalhousie. Welcome was pleasant and we were offerred nice welcome drink. We had Sri Lankan dinner which was good and reasonable and the breakfast... More

Wathsala is a great hotel with a perfect view on the Adam's Peak. Nice rooms and great staff. The food is also very good. To bad we stayed there for one 'night'. We climbed the Adam's Peak in that night.

Beds were damp (seems to be the case in all hotels) but clean, lovely duvet and super comfy though. Hotel staff are really friendly and you can get a guide for adams peek for 2500. If you go out of season I recommend a guide if not don't bother with a guide. It is obvious enough. Food is pricey but... More

By no means expect any sort of luxury here - it's practical for the climb, food is reasonable and they serve you a pot of tea on arrival and when you are done with the climb. Bedsheets were damp but the whole place is damp wit but being so high up and the fact it rained the whole time we... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here before climbing Adam's Peak in December 2012. We had an okay room with a nice balcony overlooking the forest at the back. The place is pretty basic, but it's a good base when you're going to climb AP as you can walk all the way from the hotel to the top.

I came here to climb Adam's Peak. I arrived in the late afternoon with the driver that I had hired, and was given a welcome drink. The room was nice, fleece blanket on the bed as it gets a little cooler than rest of Sri Lanka at night. I had grilled chicken for dinner with boiled veg - I had... More

We were recommended this hotel for one night, to enable my husband climb Adam's Peak and we were not disappointed. We had an excellent welcome and shown straight to our room. The room could have been cleaner but was more than adequate. The view from the balcony was wonderful. We had a meal in the evening and it was the... More

We stayed here to walk Adams peak and whilst the accomodation was great for access to the walk that's as far as it went. The beds were dirty and smelt of mould, the sheets didn't fit the bed. The breakfast was not nice and the rates were definately not worth the money. On the upside The staff were friendly

I stayed here in April before climbing Adam's Peak. The room we had was amazing and the staff were extremely helpful in arranging a spare bed in the room. The food was ok - nothing to get excited over. The location is great for the walk up to the start of the climb to Adam's Peak - about ten minutes.... More

We stayed here to do Adam's Peak and it was fine. The rooms were nothing spectacular but clean and we had a balcony with a good view of AP. The staff were great and really welcoming. We paid 2000 rupees for 1 night which was slightly more than what we had hoped to pay but it was fine.
