I had an excellent dinner with filet steak and dessert but the prices are quite high. The steak was super soft and from a high quality but the dessert was tasty but I would have expected more for a price of 7,50€ (ice cream with Eierlikör). The ter of the group was very satisfied with their menu as well.

It is the most friendly atmosphere we've ever been in. We felt like it was not the hotel, it was our home. The cuisine was amazing! We had our personal problems, and the hotel owner helped us to solve them. Thanks for such pleasant holidays!

I travelled to Rheine recently and stayed at this bar/restaurant which provides room also. Wel positioned within Rheine and close to the town centre, this small B&B is very charming and very typical of a small German guesthouse. Upon arrival we were greeted by Leonie whose English is excellent. That helped a lot to go through check-in quickly and efficiently.... More

Bernd and his staff have always made me feel comfortable and welcome. Have stayed here 4 or 5 times and each time Bernd has greeted me and made sure all was well. Great food and friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere. This is a family run inn comprised of 3 houses arranged around a courtyard. The rooms are all very... More

Here a little pinch, There a little touch, Most of them are goners So they won’t miss much! These words of the infamous Les Miserables hotel owner, Thenadier, perfectly characterize the owner of the Zum Alten Brunnen. Bernd Fleischer, the Zum Alten Brunnen owner, is a generally pleasant man who speaks excellent English. His charming inn is spotless and well... More
