My partner and I had a wonderful visit to Tapalpa in August that was even more special due to Casona de Manzano and owner doña Irma, with whom we had a great time charting over breakfast. The place feels like home. You are made to feel comfortable. You feel as if you have stepped back in time: the hotel has... More

Excellent location, just a couple of blocks from the main plaza, very clean rooms, good service. I've had better chilaquiles elsewhere, but since food wasn't the highlight in town I will not complain.
