Peacockvilla has one of the best locations in this little town. It is a 1 minute walk to downtown but it has the rustic feel of being out in the woods. It is so quiet and peaceful. They offer motel rooms and also have 4 Cabins which has everythng you need for your vacation stay, even your own andorandak chairs... More

My wife and I stayed in Peacock Villa Cabin during the Sep long weekend for four days. To us, we think the location is perfect. It's not beside the lake but it is right across the street of the town centre. Very quiet at night. Car can be parked right beside the cabin. The cabin is the smallest one so... More

Tobermory was charming - Peacock Villa was not. Not clean, room was tiny, no place for luggage, little flying bugs in room. Shower was slippery and too small to move in, toilet flushed "sometimes". We came to explore the area, and enjoyed that, but wished we'd stayed anywhere else. The "renovations" were done as cheaply as possible and offered little... More

But hardly a gem. Just a pleasant little motel on a side-road in bustling Tobermory. Our room clearly was a late-add to the line-up (Room 'O'!) and as such, it did not have a picture window - although there was nothing to look at but the parked cars) and it was smaller (we think) than the others. We were late-bookers... More

My friend and I (and our dog) were staying at Peacock Villa Motel for 3 nights early August (Room 3). We LOVED it! Based on their really good price I had assumed I should be ready for some shabby look but I was greatly surprised! It was clean, neat, it looked renovated, the beds were comfy and it had all... My husband and I stayed here for the first time in Tobermory for 3 nights. Loved it! Great value. It is a very short walk to town. This motel is rustic, very clean and quiet. It has bbqs and picnic table which is great if you get tired of eating out. We brought our small dog and it is one... More

I stayed in Cabin 9 and highly recommend it. It's clean and cozy, and the kitchen has everything you'll need. And don't forget the gas BBQ and picnic table outside! Best of all, Karen the owner is a font of knowledge on all local attractions, and is only too happy to give you recommendations. Although it's located a 3 minute... More
