We stayed 5 nights at this motel and all in all it was an enjoyable experience. Great view of the Chi Chimaun coming in, waters beautiful. Very clean. However, my bed was very uncomfortable, I awoke each morning in pain. No bar fridge in the room which would have been a nice addition to the stay. But for what we... More

Our one night stay at the Grandview was comfortable and unpretentious, if a little expensive. The room was a rather typical north-american motel room but the hotel has an absolutely suberb location which helped us fall in love with Tobermory. The food at the Grandview was well cooked and the service, friendly. We'd probably go back there again, particularly now... More

Nice, comfy, humble rooms. Expensive though. Very small and it cost 125 dollars. If i looked around more i probably could of found a better rate somewhere but accommodations are slim pickings. Like anywhere else the location is good. Very small area so everything is close to everything. No breakfast either. Disappointing. 125 dollars and no breakfast lol. Id look... More

Grandview didn't have any vacancy, so we ate there and stayed closer to Tobermory's Little Tub Harbour (at Belrose Inn), where we did boat diving. The shore dives & snorkeling at the Tubs, across the street from Grandview, are also commendable. Although Grandview's dining area was closed for lunch, we ate supper there. The entrees started around $28 and were... More

My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at The Grandview last week. We had one King room, and one Double Queen room. Both rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the King room had a great view of the water. We had dinner on the patio at The Grandview Dining Room as the sun set over... More

My wife and I, along with our family, stayed here August 12, 2014. We appreciated the king sized bed and plethora of pillows! The bathroom was a bit small but manageable. It was also somewhat darker than I am used to. We ate a delicious if a tad expensive supper in the attached restaurant. The fish is highly recommended and... More

Heather in the office is very helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant has delicious. We met the nicest sweetest server. Her name was Roxanne, and she makes a mean martini. She was great server and shared her passion in creating glass work. Walking distance to everything.

The room was small but manageable. We checked the sheets when we arrived and we were a little uneasy seeing a few stains on the sheets and pillows. We did not use one of our pillows due to the stains but the rest of the linens we suspect the stains to be “clean” but stained onto the sheets. The bathroom... More

On a two night stay we enjoyed this nice comfortable room within walking distance to several attractions. Very clean with a great bed and linens. We had a very good sleep and would certainly stay here again. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the local attractions and schedules. We certainly enjoyed the view of the Canada Day fireworks from... More

Stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay there. The bed was super comfortable and the housekeeping service was great. Free coffee in the morning is always a perk. The shower in the bathroom was pretty tiny, but can't complain for the price. Overall, really enjoyed our stay and may come again when we visit Tobermory sometime in the... More
