We were in the area for a business trip and via a trip to Toronto and were lucky to stay at this spectacular property. The food was wonderful (and we are foodies, not sure what the other reviewer meant) and it isn't a typical "restaurant" where you order from a large menu - it is fresh, gourmet food chef prepared.... Went on the recommendation of a colleague. Only had a night before having to return to Toronto for Thanksgiving, but we ended up having the place to ourselves. The property is spectacular and the rooms are wonderful. I had a bit of a cold and the sauna was a godsend. Laurie is an absolute delight: she is charming and personable,... More

I've been to E'Terra three times, and this place simply does not deliver on its promise. The setting is marvellous, yes. But prices are astronomical...and the quality of the cuisine and dining room service are sub-par. We brought guests expecting a great dinner, at those prices, and the menu was very limited and the quality of the cooking, emaciated whitefish,... More

I have been to E'terra with my husband and with my closest girlfriend. We were all spellbound. As tremendous nature lovers we have all travelled seeking the wilderness as we would all like to experience it. We have also stayed at some very luxurious places that offered wonderful amenities such as Banff Springs and The Algonquin which were both wonderful.... More

Even though there were other guest staying here, my husband and I felt all alone, like two kids exploring nature's awesome playground. We hiked around the property, went bolder hoping along the shoreline and I did a little yoga in the early morning on the deck overlooking the water. The ecology of this area is distinct in it's beauty with... More

My husband and I have just discovered E'Terra Inn where we spent two magical nights. We love to escape to the Bruce Peninsula and Tobermory but have always found lodging to be a disappointment - E'Terra has changed everything for us. The setting, the hosts, the epicurean delights waiting at E'Terra are world class! If you understand the meaning of luxury,... More

We found that our one-night stay was highly overpriced. The setting and place is lovely and Darlene, the host was charming and helpful. However, the owner, although present for our stay, never introduced herself or acknowledged our presence, despite chatting with the only other guests at the table next to us. We stayed for dinner and this was quite sub-par... More

Wonderful two night stay at Eterra. A gem on the Bruce peninsula, food, accommodation, service and ambience it's hard to say what was finest. Original design sets this property apart and provides many private sitting areas. With only 6 rooms you rarely encounter others except at breakfast which is served on your schedule. Dinners were exceptional and local food made it more... More

It was the most beautiful place of our 3 week trip in Canada ! E'terra is luxury made eco-friendly and low profile by a wonderful staff and owner. We had the most pleasant stay, with exeptionnal meals, great advices in what to do and see (the owner grew up in Tobermory) and there is a lot to visit and it... More

I do not even know where to start when describing how amazing our stay was at E'terra. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in August and have been raving to all of our friends and family ever since. The only neighbours E'terra has is the beautiful scenic water, trees and the hummingbirds that flutter around the decks. You... More
