We stayed as a group of 4 friends for one night here on our way from Barcelona to Pamplona and it was well worth it! Great quirky hotel with individually decorated rooms, lovely bathrooms and the best breakfast of our trip. We would highly recommend this hotel if your are in the area. Alquezar is a bustling historic hillside town... More

We were a bit put off by the entrance and reception but had a truly wonderful stay! Private parking. Our room definitely had character and we really enjoyed the jaccusi bath. The breakfast was amazing with freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh croissants, a plate with serrano ham and tomatoes, omelette, fresh fruits and coffee. The hotel restaurant which is just... More

We were en route for France and this was an overnight stop. The hotel entrance is ordinary and certainly not exciting but the room was superb. Excellent bed and bathroom. This was supplied with fluffy towels and robes, as well as slippers and plenty of toiletry goodies. The air conditioning was most welcome on a very hot day. The bed... More

We spent a few nights here this summer, the room was romantic and charming, with a big comfy four poster bed, great bathroom with jacuzzi bath, and a balcony. Granted, there were a few rather odd decorative touches (statuettes of gorillas, penguins and christmas baubles), but don't let that put you off, as they were just amusing little quirks and... More

The village... More

I've been there twice and both times were really pleasant! First was when my boyfriend asked to marry me. Second was to take pics in their amazing village and hotel. Although it is a bit expensive, I would recommend you to visit it once in your lifetime!! The breakfast is reeeeeeeeeally nice and you can also have lunch/dinner in Casa... More

We booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary and found it so comfortable and charming we stayed an extra night. The room was clean and well decorated and the spa tub was put to good use after our long hikes through the local canyon trails. The breakfast was superb and we had a very reasonably priced bottle of champagne in... More

Staying at the Hotel Maribel was an extraordinary assault on the senses - a visual treat that brought together many of the most extreme examples of kitsch bad taste we had ever seen. But it was also a mass of contradictions. The bar was tiny, dark and furnished with plastic purple bar stools that wouldn't be out of place in... More
