nice place and area in Les Menuires in Trois Vallees/France - great for skiing for whole family - close to the lifts; shops & restaurants but still a quiet place; the rooms would need a little bit of renovation though.

It was our 4th and, I think, the last stay in Pierre&Vacancies residence. Nothing was as what we expected or was promised by P&V in Intranet. WiFi access was really in the Lobby but for extra fees, international TV means by hoteliers to have local French TV with English subtitles (and some original American movies in English), and so on.... A friend and I stayed at Les Valmonts for four nights (mid-week) to do a bit of spring skiing. The rooms were rather sparsely decorated and had functional furniture. We both found the beds (one double bed and a convertible sofa) to be firm but comfortable. While we didn't cook, the kitchen seemed to have the basics. The residence itself... More

Pierre & Vacances getting less value for money year by year. 6th year staying with them and they seem to offer less and less. 4 stayed in an apartment for 6. 6 would fall over themselves. tiny kitchen with basic amenities and basic microwave without oven. No preparation surface at all. One toilet and bathroom. 1 Locker for gear -... More

nice location, but small rooms, kitchen is equiped but not with everthing useful - lack of pots and covers, there was a teapot, coffee maker, bad knives, there was a microwave, no oven, no hairdryer, VERY few places for clothes - 1-2 linen closet for 5-6 appartment. No hooks for things. We were 5 in 3 room appts. More people... More

We expected the apartment to be small for 8... in the end there were only 5 of us, and the living room / kitchen was pretty cramped. The accommodation is OK, but a bit tired for the price - especially at New Year week. The lifts were a bit of a faff and the ski locker was small. Location is... More

I have just returned from my second years holiday staying in Les Valmonts. It is ideally situated being right next to the Bruyeres gondola. If you aren't driving to the resort getting luggage to the accommodation is a bit of a pain as you need to carry it up stairs and drag it across snow to get there. Wifi costs... More

Nice and simple chalet. Not very spacious, so you 'd better book a chalet for 4 persons and go only by 2 as we did. Especially with the material for wintersport, space might be a problem. Situated on the skipiste. Parking (outdoor) is also nearby. Near the shops and restaurants of Les Bryères and also La Croisette is only a... More

I have spent five nights with my wife and my 7-year-old son on Pierre Vacances Les Valmonts from December, 13th to December, 18th. It was very hard to locate the hotel, there was absolutely no signs on the road to tell us where to go. It was our first time in the Alps, so we were not familiar with the... More

The accommodation itself is average, especially if you look at what you pay for it. I would recommend going to L'Adonis instead. One great feature of the residence is its location near the skilift Bruyeres. If you are not a good skier the access to the lift from this residence is better than from L'Adonis.
