Hakuraa Huraa was the best holiday I have ever been on. We were welcomed very warmly and the staff were lovely. The beaches were beautiful and I especially enjoyed seeing so much marine wildlife. I would like to especially thank my guide from the morning snorkelling trip who took the time to show me the reef and it's wonderful fish.... More

Really difficult to add much to the previous reviews... But will try!! My bedroom sat over the water with a glass panel set in the floor through which I could watch the fish swim by every day. The room had a balcony which had a ladder into the sea. A very private balcony on which you good sun bathe. The... More

We have returned from our ninth visit to this wonderful place. Never have we come across staff like there are at Hakura. Everybody is there to make you feel welcome and valued and the surroundings are beautiful. Having dinner on a white beach with the waves lapping at your feet is amazing. Love the diving too - I dive all... More

We returned to Hakura after 12 years where we spent our honeymoon. We were worried that our memories would not be matched, but boy were we wrong! The changes they have made have made it better, but they have still managed to keep the rustic island feel. If you like polished floors, marble and shinny vaneers then this island is... More

We spent a week here in 2003. The rooms are very nice and the view from your private deck is beautiful. We came only for the diving and were a little bit disappointed that the afternoon dives where in very shallow water with bad visibility. The food was great, the beach really white and the baby sharks made me happy... More

My wife and I are returning guests from the time of the tsunami and our last vision of the place was one of total destruction. We are pleased to say that all the magic of the island has returned, and been enhanced. The rooms are bigger and better, the food was good before, but even that has taken a step... More

Me and my boyfriend thought the maldives would be a perfect place to celebrate his 21st birthday and our two year annivesary. the flight was horrible, if you are over 6 foot your in trouble becuase there is limited legroom. i advise to get an upgrade into premium seats it costs more but would be worth it. the seaplane to... We went for our honeymoon and this Island is just AMAZING. We were a bit concerned about flying woth monarch after reading some reviwes but our travel couldn't have been smoother. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and refreshed. The staff were all so helpful - our bed was made with flowers one evening which was lovely. The... More

Hakura hurra – formally chaaya lagoon. Sitting at work on a gloomy day I jumped in the deep end and booked a holiday to the Maldives on a travel agent website. What? I was miserable and it was raining! (This was the reasoning for spending £3000 I gave to my long suffering boyfriend on returning home from work. He was... More
