The resort grounds are wonderful and many places for quiet relaxation. The staff are very friendly and attentive and for an all-inclusive resort, he buffet food was beyond outstanding. Although premium wines are for sale, there was not need to purchase as even the house wines were excellent. Although I visited in the off season where many activities were closed,... More

We were on a river cruise in France down the Rhone so we decided to spend three days at Club Med Opio, an all inclusive resort. The location was spectacular. It was in the midst of a lovely neighborhood with a golf course and olive orchard. We expected no English speakers but were pleasantly surprised that most spoke English. The... More

just returned from here and it was a beautiful place. the housekeeping took FOREVER but i don't blame them. i think they are understaffed so i blame the management. there are about 100 young people who work there and at lunchtime/dinnertime the restaurant takes on the feeling of a. camp or b. university cafeteria. got a deep tissue massage and... We just came back from a week with our baby in Opio. Here is our honest opinion: Positive: - Our little one was entirely happy. He loved the attention, the pool. We kept his schedule for nap times and food and he was very, very content. - In the end we figured out a food planning and the kitchen prepared... More

The vacation was very good, The stuff was very helpful and welcoming. The rooms were nice (especially for Club Med) but the house keeping quite lousy. All in all it was a very good experience, yet expensive for what you get.

This is my third or fourth trip back here in Opio. If you´re looking for the Club Med experience in the south of France, then this is what´s on offer. The rooms have been upgraded (now a 4 trident Club), and I can confirm that they are a definite improvement on previous occasions, with an upgraded (if small) bathroom and... More

I thought that the mini-club was great and the GO, Céline, is very good with kids and she is very serious with her jobs and is a hard worker. She was probably my favorite GO. Le mini-club était GENIALE et la GO, Céline, est très bonne avec les enfants et elle est très bien avec ses emplois et est un... More

This was the 4th trip to a Club Med for our family so we generally knew the Club Med drill and Opio did not disappoint. We were there the second week of July 2013 and on property for Bastille Day which was really a well timed visit. I would generally agree with many of the comments below - do NOT... More

This is our second club med holiday and it was better if that was possible than our first which was Club Med in Da Balaia. Our kids are 5, 3.5 and 2 and needless to say they don't speak French so I wasn't sure how it would work out. The kids' clubs were fantastic,I must give them the highest accolade.... More

This lodge was like a cruise with the planned meals and entertainment. It is family oriented and there are kids running around everywhere. The rooms are not well air conditioned. The food is mostly a repeat each day, so more than a couple of days is to much. This is definitely a place to simply sit and do nothing. The... More
