This was our first club med, having done umpteen Mark Warners/some Neilson and Sunsail. This club is open all year, set in the hills above Cannes and although busy, it was well run with all staff speaking degrees of English. We made many friends with most guests from Paris, who also spoke some English despite trying my school French on... more

Stayed here for three nights on a corporate event. I had a great time, but am unsure if the resort is somewhere I would want to go with my family. The location is beautiful (although about 30 minutes inland from the Nice airport) and most activities are included in the price, like archery, tennis and golf lessons. All food and... more

I’ve just returned from a 10 day stay at Club Med Opio with my husband and 8 month old baby. We had a good break. We didn’t use the baby club because we preferred to spend our holiday together. Our accommodation was good and the resort is well maintained. Points which I found great: • The setting is spectacular with... more

We have just returned from a week at Club Med in Opio and had a great time. It was a family reunion of 13 of us and we all ranged in age from 65 to 3 years. Lots to do and a very busy programme over the Bastille day celebrations. We participated in most activities and had very little rest... more

We had a wonderful time at Club Med in Opio. We have 3 small children, 6, 3 and 1 and used every child program available. Our 6 year old had the most fun in the Mini Club as she was able to swim and be independent of us. The little ones were in more daycare type prgrams but it gave... more

This was our first holiday with our 5 month old son and it went very well. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and everything has been wery well renovated. The room was ok, the bathroom was a little small. The food was very good, we gained a few pounds while we were there!!! The 'calm pool' is an excellent option... more

We went there as a whole family with our 2 and 4 year old kids. Although there was an advertisement for indoor pool - it was not functioning because there was no heating!!! ( Reason for this was given as technical problem - I am afraid it was financial !!!) We booked two rooms with connection - these were tiny... more

Hotel not child-friendly, arrogant staff : We've just returned from a week in Opio at Club Med. The Club has been rather child-hostile, rather than friendly as advertised. No structure or adequate activity was avalable to a child of 4 years. The manager and some staff acted rather arrogaatly and without good will. Tiny rooms: Rooms were nicely decorated, but... more

Club Med spend a lot of time marketing this property as child friendly and whilst the facilities were very good , there are steps everywhere which meant carrying buggies up and down. Also if your spoken French is not to a good standard you will find commmunicaion with staff difficult. One issue which further irritated us was the inability to... more

I enjoyed it here. It is NOT near the sea, but in the hills, so do bear that in mind if you stay here. Rooms are well spread about in different blocks so although it is a large place, you can feel fairly intimate. Pool area is great, good for families. Eating is fairly casual, but of a nice quality,... more
