The hotel has your basic needs, it has a cute decoration. Pros: good water pressure, hot and cold water, good A/C, TV, ok size rooms, free wifi, half block from the boulevard/beach and six (convenience store). Cons: my room was full of humidity on the walls, the bathroom wasn't clean, my bed had some random hairs so that's unacceptable.

I have been to Progreso, Yucatan many times over the last 2.5yrs but only for day trips via AutoProgreso or collectivo from Merida. This visit we stayed 4 nights in the junior suite. The room had a good size fridge, microwave and a little dining table for 4 as well as 2 full size beds, nice size bathroom and a... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The malecon has been completely renovated and updated. The beach is right across a one way street and it is kept clean . There are palapas for rent of 60 pesos a day and the restaurants will bring drinks to your table. Playa Linda is decorated well and modern. You can even flush... More

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Accommodating. Excellent location. Beach view! Private Rooftop tanning space. Close to restaurants and amenities. Only complaint: very loud place at night. Many late night parties, yelling, door slamming, etc.

The hotel is very clean and the beds are comfortable. We had a master suite with a spectacular view of the beach and Malecon. Although it has cooking capabilities and a good refrigerator, we mostly just stored cold water and drinks and fruits and juices from the market. The lowest cost rooms are without windows or views but the rooftop... More

I have the best room with a balcony facing the beach. The sound of the ocean is calming and exciting at the same time, and the view is lovely. The internet works well. It's a walk up, no elevator with about 4 floors and maybe 9 rooms per floor. However, you can hear the tourists and the noise until about... More

My first time in Progreso, and I have to say I was taken aback by the view from the window facing the Gulf. You're sitting on your balcony and overlooking the Malecon. Or you're sitting inside working with the blinds open giving you that inspirational and calming view Great location being the closest hotel to the cruise ship pier, good... More

Traveling alone trying to find a comfortable place is not easy in Progreso. . I looked at 4 places and I would have been depressed by morning. This hotel was new and the rooms facing the bay are great, they have a balcony and full kitchen and a very good bed. The TV was good too. So I spent 2... More

I went to Progreso to view properties for potential move. Stayed at the Playa Linda for 10 days. Hotel was more than expected. Because of my interest I picked a lower rate hotel with excellent ratings. No frills, pool, restaurant, room service, just a place to sleep and clean up in. It was great. Because of the no frills I... More
