This is a small hotel right on the beach in Progreso. We can sit on the patio and watch all the action below or close the window and enjoy the quiet and AC. Lots of great restaurants and bars nearby - although the best are a few blocks back from the beach (El Toro, Sol Y Mar, and the Naked... More

My family of three stayed here one night and it was HORRIBLE! Around midnight a group of drunk people came through the 2nd floor hallway where we were staying, and were incredibly loud and sounded like they were throwing things in the hallway. It sounded like a big group of people, they began knocking on all the room doors, including... More

That being said, I paid the extra money for the full ocean view. Clean, modern rooms. Very friendly hotel staff, right by all the good restaurants, and of course across the street from the beach. The only downside is that the balconies don't have a wall between them, so private balcony ocean viewing isn't really an option. I noticed hotel... More

The most horrible service experience service of one hotel in my life, the hotel decide give mantenience withe me there, the internet doesn't work, zero attention. Please don't use it, there is another option domani suites and look more nice.

We headed to Progreso somewhat spontaneously on our way to Campeche from Chichen Itza so we didn't have a hotel reservation; after looking around to find a room and being appalled at the state of the rooms we saw at some of the other hotels in the neighborhood, we didn't have to think twice when we found Playa Linda. Street... More

We stayed one Friday night here and it was dead. Saturday it got very busy and made it worth the trip. Sea view room booked through booking.com for $50 with a balcony. They tried to put us in a standard room but corrected immediately. The standard rooms are small and not much light. Wouldn't want to stay in these. Very... More

We ended up in Progresso because we thought we would check out this little beach town near Merida. Ok, first of all Progresso is more port town then beach town. It was December and it was so windy that you could not go near the beach. The town itself is rather lack luster-it is as if it isnt finished or... More

We set out for Progreso with high hopes of a week of sun and surf. (It’s about 40 minutes north by taxi from Mérida.) We had reservations in the bag for a week at Playa Linda, located right across from the beach. It was billed as a new hotel on their website and showed well. Unfortunately, the hotel is SO... More

First things first: the room I stayed in was the one in the pictures provided by management, and it is as described. It's a nice room. No doubt. And when it's finished, it'll be a nice hotel. But it's not finished (see pictures). This didn't have any tangible affect on my stay; the construction workers hadn't started by 0945 when... More
