We love this place. Great people. Excellent service. Clean and cozy rooms. Close to beach. Nice walk to town and mercados. They even offer salsa class, yoga and more. Delicious breakfast is included in the price every morning! Don't miss out!!! :)

1. Very dishonest/ money hungry couple running the place...They were not upfront at all about prices of things in the hostel. We found out the hard way at checkout time. 2. There were 3 dogs full of tics living here. 3. No hot water, anywhere, ever. 4. More of a construction site than a place to stay. 5. Strange ladies... More

I don't have anything bad to say about this hostel. The people and the owner were great, the rooms were very comfortable, and it has a great atmosphere. There was always hot water! I don't know what the bad review on here is about but we definitely didn't want to leave and felt at home here. It would be a... More

This hostel is located in a sleepy neighborhood about a 20-minute walk from the town of Progreso. Currently it occupies the first floor of a giant mansion across the street from a quiet beach (at least it was quiet at the end of January) and was a nice haven being away from the hustle bustle of town. A large brekkie... More

Brought here by the owner from Merida, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hostel. The owners were lovely and would bend over backwards to accomodate our needs, including a beautiful breakfast daily. The use of a clean and spacious kitchen meant that we were able to cook every day, something we were unable to do previously due to lack... More

We were looking for a peaceful place to relax and we found it here. The old building makes you feel special, while sitting in a rocking chair on the huge veranda or in the hamock under the coconut palm. We stayed in a very cute room with an ensuit bathroom which made us feel staying in a hotel and not... More
