Cycling around the area, called in here early evening mid week. No sign of any other customers is usually a sign of a 'problem' !! I think there was three 'hand-pull' pumps on the bar, asked for a pint of 'whatever'; "it's not on" came the surly reply from the landlord(?). Tried again and asked for a pint of something... More

The room was beautiful, really well presented and decorated. We weren't told when check out was so was surprised to have an angry knock at the door asking us to leave as soon as possible, then no time to shower. We requested breakfast but when we went down we were told the kitchen was closed despite paying for b&b, then... More

Thank you for your review, so pleased you loved your room ,our check out time is 10 am and I did leave it until 10.30 before coming to tell you the chamber girls were waiting to service your room as we had other guests checking in , and as you had ordered breakfast for nine by the time you came... We spent one night in this place. Very polite man helped us to find our room and showed us the place. Had a nice, clean room with extra heating which helped us to have a peaceful night in comfortable bed. For a very good price we slept all night through and had a nice breakfast in the morning. All place... More

The pub was not arranged around the customers had to wait till they opened at 5pm . After going to the room we nearly went home . 70 s bathroom . TV that was 1980s . The bed was uncomfortable. Christmas and 1960s music in September no choice in the bar . No wine with deal . The landlord even... More

A beautiful little village. Quaint inn. Very very friendly, we had a beautiful room. The Granery, in the roof. Fantastic old crooked stairs. Highly recommended. A must for a romantic weekend. Had a fantastic stay. Thank you John and Maria x

Do not go to this pub to eat! We often eat out and visited today at lunchtime. We have a gourmet card and this was featured as a 2for1 on main courses. Kenninghall is a lovely quaint Norfolk village with pretty cottages and plenty of parking on the high street. It also has a convenience store with off licence. We... More

Stayed there on groupon deal had a very relaxing stay, was made to feel so welcome by the owners, the room we stayed in The Granary was clean and very comfortable,It is over 500 years old so expect narrrow stairs sloping floors and creaky floors, but this adds to the charm of the inn, boutique hotel it is not, it... We stayed two nights using Groupon offer, was awful! Didn't get wine, food was microwaved and the place is smelly, crackly old dump. If you are lucky you won't have power cut and the shower may work, we weren't that lucky. Traffic flows on both side of the hotel so it is noisy not to mention that you can hear... More

A friend and I found our selves stranded at 10.30pm in the area with only a tent. With rumours of a thunder storm on the way we didn't fancy our chances. We rang a few hotels but no joy as the big names where either full up or two expensive (for our minimum wage). We planned to sleep in the... More

We stayed one night as visiting family in the area. Our room was not ensuite, but we were told this when booking, not ideal, but not a problem as 'our' bathroom was right opposite our room and was just for us. This is an old building and the sloping floors, walls, stairs etc just added to the charm. John & Maria... More
