This is an absolutely lovely place to stay even though it costs a little more than most private rooms along the Camino route. Rooms are decorated to honor a particular artist. Lovely garden area. Very helpful staff. Located very close to Cathedral. Can't go wrong here.

This hotel was very different... The decor was mediaeval looking & the staff were very nice & friendly. We checked in & went for a lovely walk around the town. It was a perfect location, away from the Plaza Espanol which is a lively area. Breakfast was a buffet style with a lot of choices of breads, fruit, cereal etc... More

This was a great surprise. The owner was very helpful and offered us parking. Lovely room and bath. Breakfast was eggs to order and everything else you might want on the buffet. Only negative is it is hard to find. It is on about 1 1/2 blocks from the Gaudi Church. Next time I would find the church and ask... More

Spent the first night of our Camino de Santiago tour with Walks in Spain at the Casa de Tepa. This was an organized Camino de Santiago tour so our accommodations were chosen beforehand by Walks in Spain. Although we had an idea of what to expect, this hotel certainly surpassed our expectations and was a great way to start the... More

Casa de Tepa was a charming hotel, but we had a very difficult time finding it by car using our GPS. The front entrance was very rustic, and at first I had doubts about the quality of the hotel. Our room was fantastic, very large with beautiful antique furniture. The location was very close to the Gaudi's Bishop's Palace and... More

This is a beautiful place, slap bang in the middle of town with its own safe parking, lovely gardens and highly civilised public areas. Our bedroom's furnishings and facilities reflected all this and were comfortable, if a little old fashioned, tho' the bathroom was really ace. There is an 'honesty bar' in the gardens whose prices left us in need... More

Gorgeous building and lovely rooms with great bathroom. Windows overlooking the walled garden. Furnishings are luxurious and the shower was fantastic. We were walking the camino so probably didn't have enough time to really appreciate the place, but we paid alot more than at other locations and I'm not sure it was so much better. If you get a good... More

We spend 2 nights at this lovely quaint hotel. We had a large room where they added 2 extra beds for our young children and was still very spacious! Lovely garden with little hidden pathway that the kids loved. Very tranquil. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely old building with a romantic garden. Our room was spacious and had no windows, which was a bit dark. But it had a door leading to our own small patio. The beds were comfortable and our bathroom had a bath. We didn't take breakfast at the hotel. Astorga is a nice town with a lovely Plaza Mayor where all... More

Although driving through narrow streets to its private garage can be aggravating, this place is well-worth the extra effort. The rooms are well appointed and the managing couple are extremely helpful and friendly. This place has both history (having been built in 1790) and charm. The patio is a perfect place to relax and party (after a tough day on... More
